Another fabulous stay at the Rob Roy. Rooms basic but immaculately clean. Nothing was too much of a bother for any member of staff we spoke to. Meals were all delicious! Thanks so much for a great weekend.

An excellent stay as always. Room comfortable, well appointed and very clean . Staff very helpful and friendly even when very busy with coach parties. Restaurant also well run, and food well cooked. Dinner Menu a bit uninspired, could do with an update, also cold .breakfast items.(maybe pastries, ham, cheese , fruit?) Hot breakfast excellent and plentiful. The menu is obviously geared to serving large numbers,(coach parties) ,so understandable, but it would be nice as individual guests, to see a slightly more ambitious selection.

The room and bathroom was fine clean and fresh. Breakfast was lovely but very disappointed in the dinner menu and meals weren’t very hot and to much veg on the plates.Also stairwells weren’t clean and full of flies

Had a lovely 2 night stay here. Hotel is in a great location and a fab base for exploring. Staff were all really nice. Hotel was spotless as were the rooms albeit they could be doing with a little updating. We would certainly return

The hotel was comfy and clean. Food was good for the price we had a set menu but the choices were good. The hotel is going green and there is no house keeping for the 2 days we were there. We were told if we needed anything we could ask at reception. I thought this was great and good on them. They also had recycling bins at the entrance to the hotel rooms.

Rob roy ,nice hotel for couple of days away ,however the hotel lacks a bit of comfort in the rooms ,the chairs are awful , there is no table in the room , and really the entrance road is in need of an upgrade, holes everywhere .

Arrived at the hotel for check 2pm, Reception was very friendly and gave me info on what happens on this being a tribute night booking. 4 course dinner was great, service staff were also great, as were the bar staff... The 80s Tribute show and disco was really good and went on until 1am.. Good night, nice sleep, the breakfast buffet was lovely ! The Rob Roy is a great tribute hotel !!

Wheelchair accessible rooms are at the farthest point. Also there is a deep step to get from the rooms to Reception, and then two steps from Reception to the bar and dining room. It is possible to get to the bar and dining room by going outside and in another door. It’s not physically possible for a wheelchair to access Reception.

We stayed here for the 2 nights, have stayed in the hotel before .staff were friendly and welcoming, food was amazing, especially the breakfasts. Loved that we could walk into Aberfoyle along the path from the hotel. Room was basic but was clean, small niggles were there was a hole in the bedding and the bathroom tiles were quite grubby. Hotel rooms could do with an update and sockets added beside the beds. Had a great stay and wouldn’t put us off returning.
