Another great stay, staff really helpful and attentive, even with a bus load of disabled visitors they served everyone of us with a smile and in a timely manner even took time to hav a wee joke with us old foggies. Lol

Great Value for money. Rooms are clean and tidy and of good size. Beds were comfortable and meals were of good standard. I would recommend.

We had a lovely overnight stay. We enjoyed the food and drink and the room was spotless. We even had entertainment at night a lovely gentlemen singing a wide variety of songs. Recommend the beautiful walk from the hotel into aberfoyle it's not to be missed. The staff were really friendly and helpful especially the lovely lady on reception. We will definitely stay again. Apparently the tribute nights are excellent so we will definitely try one.

Reception warm & friendly. Room comfortable. Found it strange that, although there was a wine/drinks list on the table @ dinner, we were not offered any when we sat down. In fact, when I asked for a glass of wine with my main course, I was informed that I should purchase from the bar myself! In the event, the barman did come to our table for my order when we were partway through our course. Also strange that the bar ran out of draught ale (as opposed to lager) in such a large, busy establishment - there were 2 large coach parties . Entertainment was pleasant as was breakfast prior to our check-out in the morning. Enjoyed our stay. Staf very friendly.

Look nice from the outside however the room where you have your meal is dark and like a working mans club, why we were not able to eat in the restaurant I do not know as it was empty. Also the allocated table was about a foot away from the next table to no chance of a private conversation as so close you felt you had to talk to those next to you. The food selection for main courses was old fashioned with fish pie, lamb casserole and plated chicken salad on the menu, we did not have a main as neither of us liked any of the choices and were not offered an alternative. The rooms were plain but comfortable apart from the bed frame which stuck out from the mattress and both myself and husband banged our legs on it several times. If you want a romantic getaway this is not for you. We paid for late check out but to be honest we did not need it and just wanted to leave.

Very pleased with the Rob Roy Hotel, for a 2 Star hotel it was better than some 3 star hotels we have stayed in. Room was clean, a decent size and seemed recently decorated. Staff were helpful. Nice location, a short stroll into town along a good pathway. We would definitely stay there again.

Good value for money recently refurbished rooms and public areas ,nice and clean and spacious en suite . Excellent buffet breakfast , easy check in & out . The two stars on this hotel do not do it justice we would return again .

Reception needs refreshing, sausages at breakfast half brown half pink. On the whole had a good time. certainly would go back.
