Excellent for a few days away, nice and quiet setting. Room looked recently refurbished, very clean. Plenty of choice for evening meals (four or five choices at each course) Breakfast served promptly, even when bus tours were present. Staff friendly and efficient. It would have been nice to have some outdoor seating on the grass area, away from the public bar

Stayed overnight and had a nice relaxing break. Hotel although a little tired in places was spotless, good home cooked food and friendly staff. Lady on reception was friendly and efficient so check in/check out was quick and easy.

My wife & I had a wonderful 3 x night break at this well run friendly hotel, which is ideally located for traveling further afield, The room was very clean & well equipped & convenient for our wee dog, The food was above average with varied menu & served piping hot by very efficient staff, We had a very relaxing break & will definitely return, highly recommend.

lovely hotel been a few times. meals nothing startling. had steak pie a bit grisly. second night had cottage pie nice but basically they were kids meals they were tiny.

We had a deal at The Rob Roy , 3 nights DBB and £10 at the bar. The room and hotel were fine but the meals were amazing. We had our dog with us , he was in our room also he got into the lounge which was great.

Lovely restful stay. Hotel is a bit tired in places but our room had certainly been painted recently. Friendly helpful staff. Room was spotlessly clean on arrival and COVID procedures were followed well so we felt safe. Staff spend a long time between guests cleaning, airing and disinfecting rooms. We had a 3 course dinner each evening from a set menu with 4 choices for starters, mains and desert. Food was served quickly and we enjoyed all our meals. Our only regret was we were only here for 2 nights as we had gorgeous weather and loved walking in the area. Superb value for money

Great stay yet again. Staff friendly and food excellent. Room could do with update. Cracks in walls and radiator bent. Shower was a disgrace kept falling off wall.

Had a great time at this hotel. Rooms are clean comfortable and spacious. Great choice of food at dinner and it was lovely. Great breakfast. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Nice walk through to Aberfoyle. Would return to this hotel.

Great value for money. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Food was delicious and plentiful. All staff were efficient and attentive. Check in was efficient and speedy. There is a beautiful walkway into Aberfoyle at the rear of the hotel. We enjoyed our stay and will return.
