Spa lovely but room was awful. Stains all over the carpets, room stunk of damp, hairdryer not working, shelves thick with dust, overcharged on check out which the rectified. Would i return? No! We spent nearly £300 here for 1 night it was defo not worth it. And no replies from hotel either

We stayed with you when you had a wedding on unfortunately you placed us in room 32 where you had wedding guests,so at 3am we where woken up when guests from the wedding decided to gather and socialise after the wedding not good for us I would have thought it would have been better to keep wedding guests separate from other guests, there was a green light on in the room I presume a fire escape light which was very annoying also. Buffet breakfast was not very warm and only scrambled egg available, apart from this we had a great time at your hotel.

Arrived around 14.30 at reception and told room was ready when we went up the lady was still cleaning so headed to restaurant bar and sat outside looking over the golf course and surrounding area all very well kept. Service good at bar. Night time we booked dinner and food was nice not cheap maybe wanted main meal to be a bit warmer. The breakfast I thought lets them down a bit and could be better just needs to go up another level. Spa area is very good and really busy. Our room was very good cracking big bed. I think the reception area and rooms & bar next too it are of a exception standard.

Great 1 night break, room very lovely location fabulous, dining area too corperate could be much better, Dram bar wonderful. Reception staff tried to make me feel that it was my fault my bill was wrong, oops

Check in staff friendly & welcoming, relayed all information required. Room was spacious and clean.Food awful! We ate for lunch and dinner, service was appalling. Waiting staff were lovely, however the time waiting for food and drinks was lengthy to say the least. Was advised soup in afternoon was cauliflower, was ok. Ordered soup in evening, told it was carrot & coriander - was the exact same soup! Again ok biery. The menu options wasn’t great. 2 vegetarian options both contained cheese which I can’t have. Was advised chef would make, lentils with butternut squash and fennel. I can categorically say, it’s the worst meal I’ve had in a restaurant. Lentils tasted curried, very oily. I freely admit I’m an awful cook but even I could do better! Service again very slow. Several people complaining, some waiting over an hour for phoned. Drinks orders taking 20mins to table. It isn’t a big restaurant, there was plenty of staff who were always working so I don’t know where the problem lies. The only positive from this stay is the reception and waiting staff. All very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we won’t return due to the aforementioned issues.

On arrival staff were friendly and helpful could not fault any members of staff. The room at first glance looked nice enough. The bed was comfy (despite it being 2 single beds being pushed together) the shower was lovely but the room did have faults the more you started to look. There were stains on the carpets and chairs, a hole in the duvet and the television only had 4 channels with no option to connect or stream your mobile phone. Prior to arriving we booked a full body couples massage nothing clarified about price/ duration etc. Massage was fantastic but was an hour long and we got a shock when we saw the price after receiving our invoice when checking out. We then went to use the leisure facilities which was not as peaceful as we had hoped. The sauna and steam room were tiny only fitting 4 people comfortably, there were children running around screaming and the outdoor pool was overcrowded - the facilities are not fit for purpose for the number of guests. Dinner was extremely disappointing the deal we booked included a 2 course meal and the options were extremely limited. The food itself was very poor quality and we didn’t enjoy the meal. Breakfast in the morning again felt like a school canteen with a breakfast buffet the food was cold and again just not of a good standard. For what we paid and the experience we had I would not return to this hotel or recommend it to anybody. It seems they don’t know what their target market is and the way it is advertised is very different to the reality. The staff were all lovely and helpful that we encountered and that is probably the only positive I can think of.

Stayed overnight at the Gleddoch Hotel and only wish had been longer. Fabulous accommodation and the staff are 5 star plus. Food excellent.

Lovely room, overall good experience. Points to improve - Spa needs staff to routinely check the area for tidiness - spa area could have done with routine mopping of excess water. No supervision of children in oool by parents but no one there to highlight to parents to do so. Pool area a bit dull and could do with improved decor. Food excellent but the evening dinner service was extremely poor but this was addressed by the maitre d on the night. Thank you.

Didn't enjoy the meal and stuff weren't helpful at all seemed like they were to busy to care even thought I wasn't full the place was freezing, my mum got a bone in her pate, my fish was brunt and chips far too greasey , sticky toffee was very chewy so many moaned and they made so many mistakes put me right off to ever go back and I have been before in the past and I enjoyed it but not this time so disappointed

The staff are lovely and very welcoming. The room was beautiful, and the views from the spa area were stunning. We ate at the Vista restaurant, the food was amazing as were the tails. Really enjoyed our stay, and will definitely be back.

We had a brilliant overnight stay at the Gelddoch Hotel, will definitely recommend and be back again soon. Spa and outdoor pool were amazing, room was lovely, breakfast lovely, staff lovely, no complaints at all we really enjoyed it.

Staff were friendly and helpful! A card and chocolates left in room for hubby's birthday. Outdoor hot tub was lovely with beautiful views. Limited dinner menu but food was good.

Extremely expensive once you’re in the hotel £14.50 for a glass of white wine and £6.80 for a pint of lager. No good for anyone that isn’t wanting to walk, no lifts and the spa, restaurant and main bar are up 3 long flights of stairs. The ‘included’ dinner is very limited with very little choice. We ordered two fillet steaks which aren’t even supplemented so paid full price, even though we had a dinner package. The spa was fully booked so could only use the pool and hot tub which was alway very busy and struggled to get in. In total we ended up paying over £600 for 2 rooms for one night, an awful lot of money for what we got. Wouldn’t recommend.

I have to say I was very disappointed in the overall maintenance of the hotel. The room was in need of some TLC especially the bathroom. We were also disappointed in the facility's the swimming pool etc, the whole place is very much needing brightened up and modernising. The best thing about it was the outside jacuzzi with its amazing view we loved it. The food in restaurant was lovely and staff friendly but breakfast was a bit of a let down as always running out of food. Overall we had a nice time but I have to say I wouldn’t hurry back.

Was pretty disappointed with the stay at the Gleddoch this time around as the hot tub and the sauna was out of use during out time there and this was a big part of the reason we had choose this hotel. No pre warning to booking or compensation offered. Would have rather have changed our stay to a date which all the facilities were in use.

Beautiful location and views .. room was lovely .. lot of stairs in the hotel .. indoor pool was fine quite large .. very busy as expected it's popular spa Dinner was superb .. service was 10/10 .. Breakfast was a let down .. good choice but was cold ... and the dining room was cold .. but overall nice place

Hotel is lovely. Food was amazing. In my opinion the spa facilities are a little bit on the small side for the amount of people that want to use it. Disappointed in the lack on information available in the room. Weren't informed we had to book meals. Weren't provided any information on facilities. Did receive plenty of apologies re this. There is limited information on the TV.
