From the airport:
Edinburgh Airport is the closest airport. The best way to reach us from here is by taxi. The journey takes around 30 minutes, and costs £25-£35. You can also take the tram or the Airlink 100 bus — get off at Shandwick Place, which leaves a 15-20 walk to Wilde.
By car:
If you’re driving, follow the M8 Eastbound until you get to Edinburgh Hermiston Gate. Then take the A71 to the city centre. Follow this road through the city for around 20 minutes until you get to Grassmarket.
By train:
If you’re travelling by train, get off at Waverly Station. The aparthotel is just a 10-minute walk from here. Exit on to Market Street. Go right, then left at the roundabout on to Cockburn Street. Take a right. Ahead you’ll see Edinburgh Castle. Go left on to George IV Bridge. On the right you’ll see Victoria Street, which runs down a hill. Follow this street and you’ll soon hit Grassmarket.
By bus:
The Edinburgh bus station is an approximately 20-minute walk from Wilde. Go towards Princes Street, over The Mount, across High Street and down Victoria Street to Grassmarket. Another option is to hop in a taxi from the station!
