Stayed here on a Sunday evening and thought it was great value for money.Our standard double room was compact but had everything you need, and a good shower/bath. No biscuits with the tea/coffee but we were presented with a warm chocolate walnut cookie at check in which was delicious. We used the spa in the evening as it was open till 8 and enjoyed the steam room sauna etc. The breakfast was excellent, a big choice of everything you could want for breakfast.

Have to say was a little disappointed with the room. A little, small tired and worn. The staff, the leisure centre and the food, both evening meal and breakfast, more than made up forit.

We were in the annex (which wasn't stated when we booked) and it is badly in need of some tlc. The corridors are very dark and we saw stains on the carpet, duct tape to repair rips and a gouge out of the wall. The doors are also badly scratched. What we saw of the main hotel was lovely and the breakfast was very good - both the continental and the cooked. The staff in all areas were very pleasant and we used the pool and sauna. We couldn't use the steam room as it was very hot. Our room was not serviced during our 2 night stay and we had to request tea, coffee, milk and toilet roll from the reception.

Lovely overnight stay, room was spotless. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was amazing as was breakfast in the morning. All staff were lovely. The only little niggles were , no USB ports for charging and the bed was very high, which was a bit of a struggle with hip problems, however, once in, it was super comfy.

The bed linen had a dried in blood stain that I did not notice until the morning after I had slept under it! They had given us an upgrade and that was good but carpet was stained too. Pity we enjoyed our stay and the food was very good.

A lot of years since I have been to dunblane hydro. Hotel is looking tired and in need of an upgrade. Bedroom was small and the bathroom was tiny. Bath had a shower curtain which wasn’t very nice. Room was clean but furniture looking tired. The price of alcohol is absurd. On the plus side the breakfast had an amazing selection and was very good. Won’t be returning anytime soon.

This was a disaster, having booked this a surprise for my wife. We arrived to be told that their was no Christmas dinner bi Nick Nairn and we were not allowed in the Restaurant. We were supplied with a lunch menu with three main courses, burger, pesto linguine and ciabatta, hardly fine dining. Full details were sent to you by email.

Very enjoyable stay. Pleasant and helpful staff, good clean room and excellent food. We have been visiting the hotel every year since it belonged to Reo Stakis and never disappointed.

In general I felt the hotel was tired and needs uplifting. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Unfortunately we waited 45 mins on the first night for our starters in the restaurant, the waitress did apologise for the delay. I wasn't impressed that children were playing in the corridors/reception area with their bikes. I have stayed at the hotel on many occasions and have never experienced this behaviour. Children were also having breakfast without adult supervision. When checking out our bill was incorrect due to the £40 room credit not deducted until brought to the staffs attention.

Beautiful hotel and grounds, first class service. The current restrictions didn’t stop it from being a very nice stay. We stayed in the Stirling rooms section of the hotel and the room was very comfortable. The break for us was all about relaxing and that’s just what we done.

We had a great mid week stay here. The sun was shining, the grounds were lovely, food was tasty, staff were friendly and the room was very comfortable and clean. Lots of unexpected extras, dressing gowns, hot cookies on arrival, quality toiletries. Make sure you visit the spa. We had room 330 and it was very spacious. Dunblane town centre is a fifteen minute walk from the hotel with shops and pubs.

Fantastic and well decorated restaurant, food was absolutely amazing. Staff is super polite, efficient and well trained. Quick and caring customer service. Beautiful location, peace and quiet around. Swimming pool facilities. Late check out.

Breakfast and dinner were excellent and staff were very attentive without being overbearing. Breakfast had continental choices as well as cooked breakfast where you could order what you wanted. We opted for two courses for dinner and food was excellent.
