Staff nice & friendly. Rooms nice but maybe could do with a deep clean. Some furniture surfaces were sticky & drawer had crumbs in it. Enjoyed our stay.

Rooms weren't particularly big considering we paid an upgrade for both rooms. There were big issues on Saturday night in the aftermath of a 21st birthday party. Staff tried to remonstrate with partygoers in rooms near ours but to no avail. We were unable to sleep until 5am. The staff tried their best. We must highly praise the professionalism and consideration of the Duty Manager Calum McCabe who dealt with our complaint the next day. Other reception staff we met could significantly profit from his expertise. The work he did redeemed our faith in the Dunblane Hydro.

We had an excellent two night stay at the Hilton Dunblane Hydro. The room was quite small and the bathroom nice to look at but not very practical. It was clean and the size of the room did not mar our stay. Dinner and breakfast were of a very high standard. Fantastic value for money.

Hotel lovely, however one of friends sick and could not come along. Asked reception when arrived if at least dinner could be deducted. Referred to yourselves who said up to hotel. When went for dinner we again asked could anything be done. Assistant restaurant manager extremely disinterested and unhelpful. So effectively we paid for a meal that was not used and find it disappointing that hotel did nothing to assist. Would not return as a result

Hi, wouldnt stay there again! I am not happy with my card being pre authorised in advance! Please look into why my account hasn't been refunded with the funds i didnt actually use!! I have emailed the hotel on monday 2nd march and still no reply! No free wifi?? This was poor as i had no phone reception! Tv channels were very basic and being 35 weeks pregnant i planned on having a chilled out time in the hotel room! So with no variety of channels or internet.....lets just say i was bored to tears ??, the set up for the spa treatment was very disappointing too, i didnt feel relaxed at all it was like going into a public swimming baths! I will add the girl who carried out the treatment was very nice! Please look into my comments and refund complaint and thanks in advance Leeanne mcgurn stayed 27th feb to 1st march

Only let down was the spa, treatment rooms were on a busy corridor so it was nosy and difficult to relax.

Arrival was a dreadful experience. On Sunday afternoon the queue to check in was down the stairs and out of the door. The reception area was more Butlins than luxury hotel and there was nowhere left (including the bar) to sit down. The problem seemed to be worsened by hordes of non residents. By 3 0'clock slots left for dinner were 5:45 or after 9:15. We took the cheap Sunday offer and got what we payed for. In the midst of total chaos the staff (except managers)were excellent.

Overall a thoroughly disappointing stay. I have already complained directly to the hotel. Poor customer service and experience was not that of what is expected of a 4 star hotel.

Hotel was lovely, girls at the check in desk were really nice and helpful and the cleaning staff where very polite and courteous. Only 1 thing i found was 1 of the bar staff members quite abrupt, apart from that had a lovely stay. Would be better if the swimming pool facility was onsite. Food was amazing!

Excellent! Friendly staff couldn't have been more helpful and courteous (reception; bar; restaurant). ONE WHINGE: (we stayed only one night so it wasn't a continuing problem): We were in room 257. There's a regular 'dripping' noise (we thought it was rain, at first) and periodic loud humming (loud enough to wake us up). Suspect plumbing probs? Not a big deal - but just NOT good, for a hotel of this standard. Probably a bugger to sort - but management should know, I think ?

We made the booking as a group, one couple had to be moved room but there were no issues in doing so. The shower curtain in one room was also stained in what appeared to be blood though not confirmed.

We had the most delightful stay at this hotel. The staff could not have been nicer, the food was simply delicious, we had a comfortable room. We could ask for no more.

First time at Dunblane for a few years, we found the side of the hotel we were staying in a bit tired. We booked 2 double rooms in September, I'm afraid our room was a bit of a let down compared to last time. The room was listed as a double but only had one chair and getting out one side of the bed meant negotiating a unit with the television on top and fridge beneath. We did complain at reception but they said the hotel was full. I felt the room would have been suitable for a person staying on business on their own but not for a couple. Reception confirmed it was listed as a double room but did say we could try changing the next day, but as we were only on a 2 night stay, we didn't bother. Only gave the room a 4, very disappointed with it. As for the food if I could give it 12 out of 10 I would. Absolutely superb and better value than our last visit where I remember lots of supplements on certain dishes. Service in the restaurant was also excellent. I marked service as 6, I wasn't so keen on reception staff whom I thought were a bit "programmed" and not very genuine. I must admit we were very disappointed with the accomodation and I hope this is passed back to the hotel. We went back to the hotel because of good memories of our previous visit especially the excellent accomodation but we'd certainly think twice about going back after this experience. The hotel seemed to be overbooked on Friday, it was difficult to get a decent seat in any of the lounges. Also there was entertainment of some sort both nights on our previous visit, this time there was none at all. WiFi was available in public areas (and free in some rooms but not ours) but was pretty poor and kept falling over. Not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel the food aside.

The receptionist let the service down as she was very moody and short-tempered. All other staff were lovely and couldn't do enough to help. There was also a problem with our booking as it had been put under the wrong name. The bedroom could have been better, for the price we paid we expected the rooms to be immaculate but there was hair and pubes in the bath and also the duvet cover had a hole in it . Food was great !

My group of 6 arrived for a weekend we'd booked months in advance to find the hotel had been booked by a large organisation for a function the whole weekend with approximately 300 people. Consequently, we felt this compromised our weekend: we had to queue for approx 40 minutes the first morning to find very little choice at breakfast and the staff seemed out of their depth at the numbers of people; we were allocated a room which was tiny and had a lack of storage space; the bed was uncomfortable; the bar facilities were taken over by the function and the noise from the group members of the function was overwhelming. We got the impression the hotel had taken on too large a booking. The food, however, in the restaurant was excellent and extremely good value.
