I booked through Classicbritain as I have done for many years. I booked for my wife's birthday. It was disappointing to find that on arrival they had not received anything through from you and placed initially in a very small room. Not sure how the 'best room available' thing works as it didn't here. We did get a better room on asking but was also disappointed to find that my sister and brother in law paid

A thoroughly enjoyable stay. All staff, including waiting staff in the restaurant, were friendly and helpful. Rooms and beds were lovely, as were dinner and breakfast.

Problem with rate charged - not as agreed when booking made. Still awaiting resolution to a query raised on departure. Spolied the occasion somewhat as I was with visitors from overseas.

A Doorman to welcome guests would be appropriate especially for elderly guests to show them the lift, as several walked up the large flight of stairs carrying suitcases. The service in the restaurant was disappointing on the Friday night but exceptional on Saturday night.

Generally enjoyed the stay - staff were helpful and friendly. My only concern was that the Leisure facilties were unavailable for some of the time and they were a bit tired.

Bedroom very comfortable, had a good sleep. Staff all friendly and food good. Hotel as we expected was very clean and we'd go back again if in the area.Would have preferred a view but room was well lite with the partial frosted window in our room.Late check out time was appreciated saving a rush to get out in the morning. Rate 8/10

Had a fantastic break at Dunblane Hydro. We stayed for two nights and I would highly recommend it. The staff were brilliant and the hotel is beautiful- not to mention the amazing food!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One of the friendliest staffed hotels we have stayed in. This was the 6th visit for myself and 3rd for my husband. Although food was of good quality, if we had stayed more than 2 nights we would have struggled with menu and far preferred old menu. Have to give special mention to Teegan (in restaurant) and Max (who cleaned our room), as they were both exceptional. Leisure centre badly needs updated.

The hotel stay was fantastic. Could not fault anything (which is rare) The food was fantastic, the ambience, the restaurant, the staff very friendly, helpfull and professional. The evening menu was excellent, great choice of dishes, good quality,quantity and presentation. It was definately one of the top hotels we have stayed in. If I were to find a fault with anything it would be the bedroom. Although it was very clean, comfortable, nice fixtures and fittings, it was a bit on the small size (Rm 237) but only If I was really wanting to be critical.

My husband and I stayed Friday to Sunday, the hotel foyer was lovely, all staff very friendly, location was perfect. A special mention for Kyle who served us at dinner, a pleasant young man, excellent service.

Our second stay at this Hotel, really enjoyed it. First time for dinner at the restaurant. Excellent food. My husband & I are both vegetarians and every effort was made to accommodate us.
