had a lovley stay at dunblane despite the twin room- couldn't move the beds together due to a table and comedy light fitting. Staff were professional and pleasant. Although the wedding event on the Sunday was full of rude arrogant people -they obviously didn't realise the hotel had guests. Why was wi-fi not free? This is the 21st century. Vegitarian selection was very poor and it's menu was a photocopy? ? ?

Thoroughly enjoyed my short stay at Dunblane Hydro. Staff were very friendly, food was excellent and the hotel was very relaxing.

Poor service in this hotel. I arrived with a disabled passenger and because vintage rally cars had taken the car parking at the fron of the hotel was not granted access to the front of the hotel and the lift to reception. I ended up having to drive thro a no access road to get parked. I telephoned the hotel to book a dinner reservation however I gave up after 4minutes with no response. I then emailed the hotel with my request and this was not acted on. Service at dinner was a joke. We were seated at 815 and our staters were served at 915. The hotel has also started a new trend by serving coffee and tea 15 minutes before serving dessert. The food was good but the service was more of the standard of a Blackpool b&b not a top hotel. Extremely disappointing.

Lovely hotel & surroundings! Friendly staff only too happy to help. Dinner was fantastic, really tasty with plenty to choose from. Only thing that let it down was the room we were allocated. The double bed was really small & the window was stuck open resulting in a poor nights sleep! Had the room been better the hotel would have been bordering on full marks!

Beautiful hotel. Lovely room. However couldn't get dinner until 845. 3 items of menu. Also asked for French Mustard but never f got this and waiter didn't return to say why.Breakfast was well laid out and lots of choice.

Our first night was good. The second night was awful - bedroom beside a fire door which banged, a lift through the wall and a staircase - all used by guests from 3 wedding receptions throughout a 2 hour period - result - no sleep. The Duty Manager apologised a took 1/3 off the room rate for that one night.

The bedroom was adequate. It was a bit scruffy with dubious looking dirty marks on the wall. Was also quite far away from the bar and dining room. We have stayed at the Dunblane Hydro on another occasion and the bedroom that time was much nicer.

Lovely hotel & setting. Staff very friendly and attentative. Breakfast choice excellant. Dinner, lovely food but a couple of plainer choices would be appreciated. Wi Fi charge needs to be looked into as expensive. Bedroom floor area small in our standard room and would be helped by removal of very expensive mini bar. Bathroom nicely fitted out.

Found our stay fantastic. The staff where so friendly and accommodating especially when they brought us a bottle of champagne (on the house) to celebrate our engagement. Was our second time at the hotel and could not fault it in anyway. gain the food was lovely, great taste, presentation and excellent choice. They certainly didn't hold back on the portion sizes. The handcut chips were the best ever! Lastly the room was lovely, very clean, modern and the perfect bed for relaxing and a good nights sleep. Can't recommend the hotel enough!

We thoroughly enjoyed this short break. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. The only minor fault was the bedrooms were very hot but we had a fan in our room which we left on overnight to be comfortable enough to sleep. In addition the pool/leisure facilites are not within the hotel itself - not great as it was raining heavily. That said this did not detract from the fact our break was excellent value for money = we would be more than happy to return at a future date.

Overall stay was fine, but disappointed that our room was not serviced on the day after our arrival. Also the ladies changing rooms in the pool area are in need of an upgrade, there were tiles missing in showers and also the bottom of the shower curtains were black with mildew. Food excellent and staff very attentive and welcoming.

We were relocated to Dunkeld, Hilton hotel due to a leaking roof at Dunblane the day before which scuppered our plans a little and one of the main reasons for choosing Dunblane was to try out the Nick Nairn restaurant and for what we wanted to do in that area.

We have stayed at this hotel many times. This time we were happy with everything except the attitude of some (not all) of the staff on reception. Not helpful, didn't try hard to answer queries.

Slight delay @ check-in but stewart was very helpful. A big thank-you to gayle (duty manager) for fixing our tv (apparently people steal the infinity cable, can you believe that!!!) Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
