We enjoyed most of our stay but disappointed that our disabled room had obscure glass in the windows.Though I expect there was no view it would have been nice to at least see the sky!We also thought the mini bar was overpriced eg

This is the first occasion I have used Classic Britain and it most certainly will not be the last, thank you so much for the super efficient service. Hotel was excellent, staff friendly and very helpful. First class service. Thank you so much.

A beautiful hotel in stunning setting .Bedrooms stylish .Only complaint was the view of the roof and the strong cooking smells when window was opened. Used leusure facilities several times despite the inclement weather and having to run across the car park to get there. Facilities a bit tired looking! Dining experience in beautiful dining room marred by dinner on first night. Order taken promptly and wine and first course served quickly. 2nd course did not appear. !In that time the wine waiter also removed our wine bucket after only having had one glass! Had to ask twice for return! Food was produced after an hour with many apologies after we had to point out that the couple beside us had finished their meal and they had arrived later than us. Food was amazing. Staff lovely though perhaps not as attentive as may have been on a busy night! Was intended to be a stress free weekend after a stressful fortnight. Rest of stay relaxing and recharged batteries. Would like to think we will be back in the near future.

We stayed in Dunblane hydro for our 2nd wedding anniversary this week. We have stayed there a few times now and spent a week there after our wedding so we know it well. On arrival at the hotel it was extremely busy and we had to wait in a huge queue to check in. Our room was not ready so we had to wait and ended up not getting into our room until 4.25pm which is late in the day. The room we had was lovely. We were very impressed with the bathroom, it was very nice. We had booked DBB so we ate in the Kailyard that evening. The service was good and we had a seat with a view outside which was nice. I would say the food was good but not as good as it usually is. We still enjoyed it though. Afterwards we went to the bar and enjoyed a few drinks. The hotel itself was quite cold and we heard a few other people commenting on how cold it was. Even the bartender mentioned it to us. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Dunblane Hydro and would use it again, but perhaps only because we've been before and know how good it can be.

Our stay at Dunblane Hydro though only one night was excellent. The staff in the dining room both for evening meal and breakfast were extremely helpful and curtious, especially as I am disabled and have to use crutches to move about. One problem was in the bar area where the service was very poor and slow. At one time there was only one member of staff serving and customers had a long time to wait for service.

7th April very busy at check in time, had to queue down entrance stair for 20 mins, entrance doors were open, it was a very cold wait! HOWEVER, everything improved after that. Food delicious, staff extremely pleasant and efficient. We will certainly return.:-)

Had a flat tyre on 'girlie' break. Duty manager Stuart smith changed my tyre, with a smile and sought us out the next day at breakfast to check all was okay. Without exception the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Special mention also to the staff at the spa for making our day with their treatments. First class in every way. Will definitely be back!

Had to move rooms. Were allocated room on 4th floor with very small window, room very stuffy as window did not stay open. (We had been allocated this room on our previous visit and had complained about a faulty catch on the window, it was still faulty.) Asked for a change, receptionist reluctant to move us. Later duty manager came to the room to look at the safe which was also faulty. He commented on how hot the room was. He said he would arrange for us to be moved the following morning. We moved to another room on the 4th floor which was a bit better. Food was good but on one occasion we had to wait for over an hour for our first course because there was a large party in the restaurant.

Excellent service and food. Our room was small but adequate although the heater wasn't working very well. Lack of drawer space but as we were only staying the one night it wasn't an issue. Good overall. Will be back.

We have had the worst weekend in a room where clearly someone has been smoking they made a mess of the billing the health club is absolutely disgusting dirty nappies toilet roll strewn across the floor hair down the shower walls and disgusting shower curtains clearly because you book with classic Britain and not the hotel direct as it is more expensive you get put in the worst part of the hotel carpets are disgusting paintwork is disgusting and the smell of damp and cigarettesis just vile worst weekend we have ever had. I have already emailed the hotel as I wish compensation I have had to was every single item of clothing. I am diabetic and have asthma and have been I'll since our return.. Couldn't wait to leave absolutely disgusting'!!!!!!!!!

Had a lovely stay at Dunblane Hydro, our five stay there. We were a bit dissappointed that we didn't get two rooms together or at least on the same floor, as we were with friends for one night only, we did however get a room at the front of the building as requested by myself a Hilton Honours member. Food was good, breakfast was a bit mish mash, considering the amount of people staying that week-end, to only have 2 toasters to cope with the amount of people I thought wasn't enough (queing to make to toast!!). Overall the hotel is very good, but some corridors, rooms are getting a little tired looking....

Having used classic britain for years and always getting a great deal we decided on a last minute overnight break, we had a wonderful overnight stay, dinner was great and the staff very attentive the room was very comfortable with everything available, the only downside was the Internet, though this was provided it was at a cost of

Arrived early but staff booked us in and took our cases until the room was available. We took the opportunity to explore the village and was quite disappointed with the lack of facilities albeit we did find a deli/cafe where we got a really lovely lunch. When we got into our room it was clean, tidy and everything worked. There was a full set of toiletries, hair dryer, iron and board, TV and tea making facilities - everything we needed really. We were only there for one night and the evening meal was delicious and the staff very attentive. The breakfast too was varied and really tasty. All in all we will certainly consider going back in the future as the overall experience was great

Disappointed with Reception service on arrival. Did not get room requested at time of booking, also waited 2 1/2 hours, ultimately assigned an upgrade after asking to speak to the Duty Manager.

The evening meal was excellent, but the breakfast was VERY dissapointing. We had to wait for over 15 minutes for toast due to there only being 1 toast machine, the bacon was over cooked and sausages under cooked, but overall our stay was excellent.
