There was a wedding on the night we stayed so the bar service was understandably slow due to staff attending to the wedding guests bar. room was bigger than expected, clean and comfortable. food was enjoyable, we would certainly return to this hotel and recommend it to our friends, especially for a visit to the nearby "kelpies".

Very helpful staff. We were leaving at 4 am for the airport and the receptionist arranged with the night porter to get us tea and toast. Fabulous service.

Very large clean and comfortable rooms. Easy access from the motorway so good for anyone needing a break in their journey. Food was good but menu quite restricted for vegetarians. Communication between restaurant and reception over the bill was muddled and we had to query overcharging. However staff were all friendly and polite.

The staff at the hotel couldnt have been more welcoming and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. Only slight disappointment was the evening meal in "Cooks" but the excellent breakfast the following morning made up for this. Would definately return !

Fabulous stay at a remarkable price.All staff friendly,professional and helpful.Hotel spotless and we were very pleased with the cleanliness of our room.the breakfast was one of the nicest we,ve had in a long time.Enteryainment from tribute act most enjoyable.We will certainly will return and hope Clasic Britain repeat the offer.

Lovely rooms and staff, trying to get served at bar was ridiculous as busy with wedding but even when quieter no staff available. Breakfast great but dinner could have been better and 3 individual events all which should never have happened spoiled our overall time sorry to say .

The major problem at this hotel is that in wet weather you have to go out of the main hotel and round the side to the bedroom wing. The same applies when going for dinner where you also have to cross over the car park. some joined up thinking required.

It was a pain having to go outside in the rain to get to my bedroom and then to get to dinner in a separate building even further away from the hotel.We were allocated a double room despite booking a twin room.The receptionist did give us a twin room but did not apologise for her mistake.
