Lovely hotel but our room number 124 was boiling no air conditioning in the room at all we got offered a fan,food was lovely but we definitely wouldn’t stay again as the heat in the room spoiled our stay!!!

Very friendly staff welcoming We had a suite the ivy I think really lovely comfortable bed amazing roll top bath/shower beautiful room no view though which was a shame Lovely evening meal nice breakfast would prefer to be served though the main part Really wish their was a terrace out front their is certainly enough space and would enhance your stay just a few wooden benches dotted about

This was a great stay. Warmly welcomed at reception with a freshly baked cookie! Room was clean and comfortable and obviously had been recently refurbished. Beautiful view over the front and the well kept grounds. Meal at night was great. Beautifully cooked and served and the breakfast was one of the best we have ever had on one of these deals. All staff very friendly. A great stay and one we would repeat

The hotel was of a very high standard.We found the room to be too hot but a fan was provided.The discounts at the shopping complex were misleading.Only Radley gave a discount.Indeed,some of the shops did not exist.The Blacksmith centre did live up to its billing in terms of entertainment and discounts.We did however enjoy our stay.

We stayed at the hotel for one night . The room was lovely and looked modern . Though the carpet wasn't clean with a number of stains which was disappointing. The fridge needed a wee clean to but was stocked with water . We had an issue with the shower which seemed to loose pressure for a bit which was a pain but lots of towels. The food was ok my main pork belly was really nice. the curry was disappointing and the apple pie sounded amazing but was mass produced and had been microwaved. Breakfast was good . Some staff were lovely and smiling others looked tourist jaded but all worked very hard .I enjoyed the stay would probably stay again .

We have just returned from an excellent stay at Gretna Hall. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff were all very friendly and efficient and the breakfast and dinner were both delicious with fantastic service. Our only comment would be that our room was above the function suite and there was a wedding on the first night so the music was rather loud but we would definitely book again and perhaps ask for a room away from the function suite. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you

We booked this hotel for our wedding anniversary and we expected to see at least one wedding, I mean it’s Gretna it’s what the place is known for, but we saw a lot of wedding parties! At least 5 during our stay. The bar isn’t big enough to accommodate a lot of guests. We struggled to find anywhere that was quiet for an afternoon drink without being surrounded by weddings, and at times it felt like we were interlopers. We had evening meal here, which was of decent quality and really enjoyable. However some members of staff come across as very brusque and at times quite rude, I was wondering if I should have chips with a curry I was ordering to be told, well it comes with naan and salad anyway, and it felt as if I was being judged. Our room was small but very clean with a nice view of the gardens. Breakfast was such a let down, we arrived and were seated but there was hardly any cooked items left and we had a long wait for these to be refilled. My husband ended up leaving all of his breakfast as it was undercooked and the bacon was almost raw. And again staff came across as very rude and as if we were an inconvenience to them. Our stay was just ok, nothing special which is disappointing as it was our 15th wedding anniversary, we wouldn’t visit again.

Had a lovely stay at the Gretna hall hotel. We had a lovely room clean and very spacious, and they provided shampoo and conditioner and body wash, and had a hairdryer iron and ironing board in the room. The hotel has nice decor. The food was lovely, and the staff were helpful and pleasant. Will stay again if any offers come on my hotel break .

Highly recommended, Lovely hotel with very pleasant grounds. We were very pleasantly surprised because even though there was a couple of weddings going on we never really heard them and you wouldn't have known. The food was excellent both at dinner and also for the buffet breakfast. Very good indeed.

Hotel was lovely, in a nice setting. Rather quirky with small cosy public spaces dotted around and small flights of stairs up and own all over the place. Very well appointed and lovely restaurant with delicious food. Staff in general were very friendly. Room (147) was spotless and well appointed, but very hot. Also for a 'superior' room, the outlook across to the annexe walls and windows was disappointing.

Had a lovely time here Hotel has been refurbished Rooms large we stayed in a luxray double Food excellent ate in hotel both nights Staff friendly Hotel stands in 10acres but because of heavy rain we did not get a chance to explore Downside bathroom did not have towel rails but refurbishment is still ongoing
