I took my Dad for his 92 birthday. We had a great time and the food was fantastic. Will return again in November. A excellent hotel.

I got a deal through Classic Britain to stay at this hotel. We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay again or recommend it to others. The only drawback is the lack of leisure facilities in, around or near the hotel. The rooms, although clean and tidy are a little bit tired and could do with sprucing up. The staff are very warm and approachable too and go out of their way to help>

Stayed here for friends wedding. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was lovely. Only fault I could give was the water pressure is low but had a very enjoyable stay. Would definatelly stay recommend this hotel and happily stay again

We had a excellent stay while at a wedding in Gretna hall hotel. The only comment I would make is for there to be more bar staff, and that food/plates aren't carried through the bar area when your wedding party is waiting to entre the restuarant for there sit down meal. Having to keep moving so staff could be pass by was annoying , other than that we would defiantly return.

Housekeeping = Flat surfaces were not dusted all week. Rooms, Not bad,a bit small, albeit we were told we would be given the best rooms available when we checked in, we thought on a first come , first served basis, some of our guests arrived after us and were given a bridal suit, we filled our criticisms paper out and gave it to reception, That was our main complaint. Service from staff was excellent but bar prices were extortionate.

we were celebrating our aniversary and a great place to do it would reccomend it to all will be back for a longer stay, evening meal was outstanding and couldnt finish it as portions where large, breakfast was buffet style so you ate how much or little as you wanted, staff were friendly and welcoming, hope to see you again soon

Overall we enjoyed the hotel after they sorted out a few problems and upgraded on of my guests who had 2 holes in their bath. The hotel is tired and needs upgrading, food was plain fair but plenty of it but probably would not go back again unless they had un upgrading of the decor etc etc
