Arrived Friday evening to a warm welcome.Staff friendly, although a wedding took place on Saturday this did not detract from the attention we received.The food was excellent and well presented.

Food & service were excellent, bedrooms very clean but furniture a little shabby, no shelf in bathroom to leave out washing gear etc. Staff were very pleasant & helpful. Overall very good value

Been here loads of times before and always been pleased. This time however our room did not fall into the BEST ROOM AVAILABLE promise. Very small and not much light also looking onto the motorway. Did get a change of room after asking the lady at reception who now seemed less helpful than before.

Originally given a room with very poor outlook, but eventually relocated to lovely front facing room, which was very comfortable. Duty Manager on arrival was not as helpful as the lady who helped us on checkout.

Stayed on a deal for three nights, two of which included dinner. There was an issues with our room on arrival, this was sorted immediately with a upgrade to a honeymoon suite. Staff were very friendly and efficient, good value food. Pleasant stay.

My wife and I have stayed in this hotel twice and on 27th April, we will be goung back down again for a third visit to spend my 70th birthday there, (28th). Does that not speak for it'self. This will be our third visit to the hotel and we cannot fault it. The bedrooms, restaurant and other food areas in the hotel along with all the staff cannot be faulted. I give this hotel and it's surrounded areas (the grounds)a rating of 10 out of 10.

I booked a 2 night stay for my birthday and forgot to mention this when booking. The manager upgraded us to the Junior Bridal Suite, (with Jacuzzi) free of charge, she also gave us a bottle of bubbly and chocolates because it was a special occasion. The food and service was first class and the staff were really helpful. My only criticism was the rooms, although they were clean and comfortable, they are a little battered and bruised.

had a really nice stay staff were lovely and food was brilliant ate far to much. Just a pity it was a bity chilly in lounge area fire was not lit most of the time and the draft coming from main door was a nightmare. Pity only think I could fault hotel on, but needs to be addressed.
