enjoyed the weekend stay at Gretna hall hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpfull hotel and hotel rooms were very clean and the food was excellent will definitely come back again great weekend

We have used this hotel on a number of occasions and always had a pleasant stay and the only criticism we have this time is the mattres on the bed was to soft not good for the back. This will not deter us from booking more breaks through your company.

We booked a2 night dinner bed and breakfast with a one night bed and breakfast at gretna hall hotel last week to do Christmas shopping and can't praise too highly the attention of staff ,meals and bargain price of the break. First class.

Bedroom badly needing upgrading. Walls badly marked. Bathroom needing freshening up. Paint discoloured. Occasional chairs upholstery dirty and window frame black. Long time since cleaned. Not up to review standard expected. Will not be booking that hotel again. Breakfast was nice and reception friendly.

Excellent value for money. Staff all pleasant and helpful. Nice bright rooms but shower could do with updating. Food excellent.

Had to phone night porter due to the noise outside bedrooms from 1am to 2.30am !!! They said that they will speak to all concerned but it continued for a while afterwards. Later the people moved back in to hotel or outwith the hotel grounds.

Had a lovely weekend. The room we were in could have done with a few cosmetic upgrades. In the bathroom toilet didn't flush too well ,no shelf to put toiletries on and door a bit dated. Window in bedroom had nothing to keep it open so had to prop the box of paper tissues against to keep it ajar. The food was very nice and very well presented .Yes I would go back again.

We have been to the hotel a number of times and we enjoyed this visit very much indeed! We have never been disappointed staying here at Gretna and this time on the offer we booked (2 nights DBB and 1 night BB free) it proved to be excellent and exceptional value for money!

First stay for some time,a greatly improved hotel.excellent reception from friendly staff. Good clean room.food and restaurant service was excellent.Evening meal offered a good choice,with extra choice available at a supplement.Breakfast offered a good choice.Will definitely return again,

Yes, my wife and I cannot see past this Hotel. It is set in a beautiful area at Gretna at the motorway access is fab. We have stayed at the hotel several times, we have also made some of our friends known about the hotel which they have also visited and they cannot praise the hotel, not forgetting the food and the staff highly enough. So, there you have it. What else can be said.

I booked 2 twin rooms - 1 with disabled facilities for my mother and cousin who has mobility issues. Classic Britain advised that this request was passed to the hotel but best to give the hotel a ring to confirm, just as well I did. The hotel advised they didn't have my request and anyway only had double rooms with disabled facilities! We eventually came to compromise and the hotel promised a twin room with a walk in shower and this they duly did but it might be better if the information re disabled facilities was available up front. Our stay at the hotel was very good, there is no doubt that the rooms particularly the bathrooms are in need of refurbishment but both our rooms were clean and tidy, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food, while plain fare, was very good and very plentiful. I would say for the amount paid we received value for money.

we spent only one night here but had very good service - the hotel staff could not have been more helpful. We had a lovely evening meal and a good breakfast on the Saturday morning. Next time we plan to stay longer as this a great area to explore.

Hotel was good, but Classic Britain had not confirmed the booking. The hotel was good enough to give me an upgrade in view of this oversight. The room was fine, but the hotel needs to review their lighting policy. I like to read and the lights in the room were inadequate for this. On the first night the meal left a lot to be desired, but for the remaining two nights, the food was good. Having spent the last 6 years living in hotels as part of my occupation, I would rate this hotel as above average.
