Rooms absolutely excellent. Food lovely. Spa team reception team seemed very brash and not interested in guests.

Absolutely amazing day. Was a treat for me and my husband and what a treat it was. Spa was amazing, food was delicious, room was welcoming and comfortable. Will definitely be back soon. Great deal and day had.

Lovely hotel, staf very nice, and well trained. Dinner was delicious! Breakfast was not great, not very hot , and had to send back fried eggs, not cooked on top. However, enjoyed stay and would recommend and come back again.

The rooms were basic but clean, the food was amazing and the staff and service really good but as spa days go it was not very relaxing or enjoyable, the pool area was crowded with not enough seats/loungers for people. Lots of children running around and screaming so it definitely wasn’t a chilled relaxed peaceful spa break. Disappointing, Would not return.

Enjoyed a Thassol DBB break. Room clean and comfortable however bathroom needing TLC touches as was the hotel lift carpet however obvious upgraging was apparent. Food delicious and plentiful and plenty staff available and all pleasant. Leisure facilities good with excellent spa,large swimming pool and reasonable gym.

Nothing about our stay was good, from the old tired bedroom, the mouldy shower, the inedible food to the spa room covered in cobwebs! Not what you expect from a Hilton, I would not return to this hotel and would think twice about a Hilton stay in the future.

A friend and I really enjoyed our overnight DBB and treatment stay. Hotel staff were all very pleasant, spa was really relaxing treatment was lovely. Our bedroom room was clean and fairly spacious. Food was really delicious would certainly recommend this hotel

Really enjoyed the break, furniture in the bedrooms a little tired & could do with updating, restaurant menu was very small & not a lot of choice .They ran out of sweet by 7.40pm. We did have a rassoul treatment as part of the deal & would have also booked another treatment if they hadn't been so expensive. None of these things affected our stay which was very pleasant

We booked the Hilton Westerwood hotel and spa for Saturday the 10th of September for our Anniversary something we were really looking forward too, we had nothing but nice things to stay about our visit until the evening, when we checked in and we were asked what time we would like our table booked our hotel break package includes our dinner so we said 7pm as far as we were aware this was booked. Got all ready and came down for our meal to be told we aren’t on the system, and now there is nothing until 8.45 pm. I am 30 weeks pregnant I was starving and tired (there was no where else to go or get any food) now under a normal situation we would have been fine we would have a few drinks and it would have passed the time. But being pregnant starving and tired this wasn’t an option. We couldnt even drive anywhere else for food because my partner had a pint not knowing this would happen and to enjoy his day as it’s our anniversary, No one was bothered we had to wait till this time to eat. By the time we had ordered and actually got the food it was well after 9 this is a ridiculous time for anyone eating never mind someone pregnant needing to eat. Also when my fish and chips came I had half a fish everyone around me had a full one so they clearly ran out and gave me what they had. I was actually furious this had happened and not at our fault we booked a table. I already missed out on my spa treatment because I’m pregnant and I understand that but no other treatment was offered again like I was told they would do something else for me to make up for it i was pushed to the side and told to go sit in the swimming pool until my partner was finished, I feel truly dissatisfied and disappointed that I’ve paid over £200 to stay here and be treated like this. If I could have left at that time I would have . I went to bed with food sitting in my stomach because I had to eat something and it was so late to eat. We were truly looking forward to this being pregnant I can’t do much and booking here for a get away for our anniversary I was so excited to be fully let down. I did try to explain to the staff but they didn’t seem bothered. Totally ruined our anniversary and will never go back there waste of money and time.

Quite honestly I was disappointed with this hotel. As we arrived all seemed ok, we went to the Spa and the changing rooms were disgusting, there was rubbish all over the floors and wrappers etc. This was even after a few hours. We could not get a dinner reservation until 8:30 but did get in sooner thanks to the staff. However dinner was also disappointing, sub standard to be honest and we felt the same about breakfast.

Enjoyed our stay at the Westerwood Hotel, it was a very relaxing break. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. Our evening meal was very nice, plenty to choose from. The dining room looks over the golf course and the views were tremendous. We would definitely go back.

Evening menu very disappointing. Soup tasted watered down, was expecting hearty bowl of leek & potato not puréed. As Hubby is Coeliac they made him mashed pots. Puréed again & tasted powdered. This hotel states 4 star, well they certainly don’t serve 4 star food. Won’t be back sorry x

Great stay from check in to check out! Lovely spa experience great pool used before checking in and after checking out. From room service for lunch to dinner and then breakfast food and service was excellent.

Hi first o the staff and food were great just felt hotel bit dated and in need of an update. Also pool area full of children not what i was expecting hoping for quiet spa to have relaxing time.

When my friend and I arrived at 230pm, our room was ready which was a bonus. The lady at reception was so lovely and friendly. It’s a lovely touch getting a choc cookie when checking in. They have a fire near the reception which was lovely sitting next to it with a drink. Our room was lovely, we got a twin room. The bed is extremely comfy! We had the dinner, bed and breakfast deal. The service was quick and everyone was so friendly. The food was delicious, it was busy that we couldn’t get our table booked in until 745pm. That give us time to use the leisure facilities. The steam room wasn’t working but the sauna, pool, jacuzzi was and it was great. I did use the heated beds which was fab but definitely think they need new ones as the mosaics keep falling off. Hope they fix them before they get worse. They still worked thou. The changing room and showers is 3 stars rather than a 4 stars Hilton hotel which it’s meant to be. Hope they refurbish that soon. The relaxation room was fantastic, wee added bonus is that they have blankets on the beds now which is a nice touch. We were able to get robes on the fri but on Saturday when we used the leisure facilities again we weren’t allowed robes as it was only for people that were having treatments. Slightly disappointed. The breakfast in the morning was nice, buffet breakfast with loads to choose from, fruit, pastries, yogurts, make ur own pancakes and cooked breakfast. Down side of the cooked breakfast there was no haggis, black pudding or potato scones but I did have bacon, sausage, beans, mushrooms and browns. It’s a great hotel but I would say it’s more 3 star than 4 but the offer we got was a great price. It’s value for money

The hotel was lovely as we expected being a Hilton hotel the only comment we had as a family would say we were on a package with food breakfast fine plenty to choose.The evening meal didn’t have a very good selection we struggled to find food we liked

I have a very missed review. We arrived at half 1 knowing that the room may not be ready. It wasn’t but we were prepared to go for a swim. Came back from swim at 3 at our check in, to be told room still not ready. We were asked to sit in bar until ready. We ordered a few drinks and the girl behind bar Morgan was very helpful. She apologised and told me she would continue to check on our room. Morgan was on her own in bar but went out her way to help us. The room was eventually ready at 4, Morgan gave us complimentary drink vouchers. Our room was nice. Dinner was a valentines menu which we were told we couldn’t order from initially. It was a very selective menu. This was disappointing as we hadn’t booked a valentines break. Whilst eating dinner we could see other tables had been given full menu which was unfair. I also asked for a large wine and was given a small and told that was the size. I queried this as it was a different measure from bar. Breakfast was great and again we had a very attentive staff member Elaine Team manager who couldn’t do enough for us. We explained what had happened and she said we should have full menu and just to ask as we were there for a second night. Pool and spa area very run down. I have stayed at this hotel numerous times. The showers weren’t working in pool area and we were told they had been like that for over a week. There was also no towels! Asked to wait while they contacted laundrette. At dinner we were given valentines menu when we asked for full menu we were told that wasn’t available we explain about other tables being offered menu and that we had spoken to Elaine. We eventually were given full menu. Young staff standing about in twos chatting. Very poor service at night. I am saddened as I always rated this hotel but standards as very low.

Hotel lovely but very dated and in need of refurbishment. No in spa area therefore you could not shower. Water temperature in both shower and bath in the room was hand hot - not good especially since you could not shower after swimming. Reported to staff who said there was no maintenance on that evening but we didn’t need to move room but if we wanted we could use another room for a shower/bathroom!! We really should have insisted on moving room.
