Absolutely love this hotel. Stayed here 3 times It was funny though with the kids meal offered as my son has adult portions at 13. Fantastic room upgrade Pool was amazing Would definitely return

We stayed here for 2 nights between Christmas and new year, relatively happy with our stay, grievances I would say was having to pay additional costs to use the very small and poorly kept pool, not only that but the price for the admission was steep for such. Restaurant staff and bar staff were polite, reception staff typical for the area, Rude

Brilliant hogmanay night! Everything was just perfect . The room, the meal the party atmosphere and the crazy dj not forgetting the breakfast the next day! Such a great night and terrific value for money. We will definitely be returning this year hopefully.

We had a good break at the hotel but it was a bit dated. We did find it was catered more for older cliente, a lot of guests were known to the staff by name. The rooms were spacious and clean but dated as was the pool facilities. The food was lovely and the service was great and the staff friendly. The bar had limited availability and definitely catered for older guests. If you want a quiet break and don't mind the hotel being a bit dated then it is a good option.

another first class stay at this great hotel,staff amazing always so friendly I always request a room with a bath, large room, cosy and spotless. two course first night,food fresh cooked ,service good cant fault it, we go three times a year nice for a relaxing break 15min walk from town centre there loads of nice bars and nice shops and cafes.

Yet another wonderful stay at The Woodlands. The hotel was all decked out for Christmas & all the staff had Christmas jumpers on!. The Festive Food was very good & the meal on our 2nd night was delicious. Clean rooms, comfy beds too.

Had a lovely time 2nd visit. Staff lovely and as good as before couldn't fault it in anyway. Good leisure facilities which we enjoyed. Nice walk along the esplanade to Broughty ferry main shops and museum area. Had an issue with the shower but reported when we left reception said they would attend to this for next guests. All staff very friendly and efficient. We will be back soon . ?

Our stay was fantastic. The room was a good size with a Super king bed. Dinner and breakfasts were great quality and excellent service from the staff. If was great to have use of the leisure facilities included in the price. We will re-visit soon.

Fantastic stay once again. Staff are all lovely and very friendly. Rooms are really clean. Didn’t use pool or gym but looked good. Food was really good with plenty choice at breakfast and evening meal was great with a good choice of menu. Will defo be back.

I love going to this hotel the food is lovely and the breakfast the nxt morning is delish. The staff are friendly and can’t do enough for you. I like getting the Abercrombie suite which I’ve been lucky every time the rooms are clean beds are always fresh and always tea coffee and biscuits on the tray. I didn’t swim this time but the swimming pool and changing area are always clean and staff there are friendly. Will definitely be back to this hotel

We stayed on a 2 night break including breakfast and a meal on the first night. The food was delicious. On the first night I found the mattress lumpy and uncomfortable. We explained this to the staff in the morning and they put a brand new mattress on the bed. This meant a great sleep on the second night! Great customer service.

We have stayed at Woodlands Hotel on several occasions. Our latest 2 night stay was as enjoyable as ever. A lovely spacious, spotless, and comfortable room. We especially enjoy using the lovely pool. The temperature is always perfect and the changing rooms are kept very clean. Every member of staff we encountered was very helpful and pleasant. Infact, not once did we hear any of them say "no worries" which was very refreshing. We look forward to our next stay at Woodlands.

Enjoyed the hotel but unfortunately my wife slipped while entering the jacuzzi injuring her knee which wasted our second night. I think a notice warning people using the jacuzzi about the steep step while entering would help.
