Fantastic deal with hotel break at the perfect hotel. Evening meal and breakfast menus very good and hotel staff very attentive, nothing to much trouble. Spa facilities just what I needed and also very pleased to be able to book reflexology/massage last minute. We will definitely return and book spa in advance for times .

Great 2 night stay, handy for visiting St Andrews and Perth. We were disappointed that we were not warned that the restaurant was very busy and we were unable to book dinner on our second night. The receptionist on check in was very cheerful and helpful. The barman on our second night seemed to pick and choose who he wanted to serve and at one point we almost felt invisible. The guy acting as the breakfast server really needs to cheer up a bit, every request was met with surliness, not what you need in a morning

A pleasant stay over two nights, enjoyable food and pleasant staff. Room was spotless. Due possibly to Covid the reception and breakfast staff seemed run off their feet and delays were encountered.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Woodlands, the hotel is well situated just a short walk from the beach and town. The staff were very helpful and the food was excellent with a good range to choose from. As the weather was particularly good we did not look at the leisure facilities but the room we had was great with a very spacious bathroom. Excellent value for the money. John & Audrey Hughes.

Very enjoyable two nights spent at this hotel. Room spacious, clean and decorated to a high standard. Breakfasts, good and dinner lovely.All staff very pleasant, highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely relaxing break. Clean rooms and good disabled access. Pool and changing area nice and clean too. There seemed to be a slight staff shortage but staff on duty were efficient and friendly. Great Covid measures in place to make customers feel safe. Food at dinner was excellent. Breakfast was nice and plenty of choice but could have been a bit hotter. We would be happy to rebook.

After booking the dinner B&B deal For 2 nights decided to book another and stay 4 nights. So glad we did. Bedroom a great size with all amenities. Good choice for breakfast and decent evening meal. Nice outside space to eat and drink and plenty parking. Around 10-15 mins walk to beach but well worth it. Would stay again.

Really nice hotel in a lovely location. Check in and out very easy and quick. Room had all necessary amenities and a large comfortable bed, good pillows and bed linen. Food in restaurant good and pleasantly served despite covid restrictions. Breakfast buffet had good choice and well cooked food however I would say the queuing system for the buffet is not well controlled and seemed a bit crowded with people ignoring distancing rules.

Had a lovely 2 night stay at the Woodlands hotel, to make the most of the break we arrived early and parked at the hotel. Walked along the beach into the “ Ferry”. Did the shops and had lunch, walked back and booked in. Super big room on first floor. All the staff, reception, waiters and cleaners were very friendly. Next day was a walk to Monifieth and back again along the beach. Food in restaurant was very good and piping hot. All in all a good break, this one is on the list for a return.

We spent 2 nights at the hotel recently and had a brilliant time. The hotel was spotless and Covid regulations adhered to. The staff were lovely and special mention to Ewan, chef and Craig, waiter who were most helpful as my husband has food allergies. We will certainly return soon!

Lovely location, very clean spacious twin room and bathroom. Friendly staff, great food and generous portions. Pleasant dining room and bar area. Great leisure facilities also. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and will return in future. Near to park and beach too!

Lovely hotel. Staff very friendly. The hotel is in general very Covid safe however distressing to see so many guests not wearing masks when entering dining room and walking around corridors. When we mentioned this the member of staff said they were not allowed to remind guests. This would make me think twice about returning as long as Covid is still with us.
