Lovely hotel, food excellent and very attentive staff. Hotel is about a 20 minute walk into the centre of Broughty Ferry, which has a great selection of individual shops & places to eat and drink.

Lovely stay as part of a deal. Hotel can appear a bit 'tired' in places (cracked tiles , cracked sink), rooms are well equipped and have everything you need . Meals were beautiful although breakfast could have been hotter .When I asked the young waiter at the breakfast buffet ,he replied " I have no idea" and that was that ....overall a lovely stay but didn't make use of the leisure facilities unfortunately x I would stay again x

Had a lovely two day break at hotel our first visit but definitely it our last. Friendly helpful staff, bright comfy bedroom, great choice and quality of food and the sun shone the whole time. Special mention to Jodie who was always happy,smiling and helpful. Also I had a massage at the Spa which was just fabulous and helped ease my polymyalgia symptoms so much. ? Do yourself a favour and visit.

We enjoyed our stay in Woodlands hotel. The staff were lovely and so helpful. The only thing the room was clean but needs updating yhe shower was terrible. My friend who accompanied me stayed on the first floor the week before and the room was superior to the one we were in.

Hotel is fine, however as a 3 star it is sadly lacking in some areas. Simple things like the fact that in the dining room there are 9 ceiling lights...6 of which had light bulbs not working ?. Our room was comfortable enough however the bathroom had lots of mould on the ceiling and flaking paintwork. No proper G&T glasses in the bar.The food was great and for what we paid it was a fair deal.

My husband & I had a lovely stay in hotel. Room very nice as included upgrade in deal. Staff very helpful, food good. Gym & pool have to be booked , we used the gym, again staff very helgful. Broughtyferry very nice place with huge beach. We have booked to return in August we enjoyed it so much

Had a lovely stay at the Woodlands, we were there with friends for a short break. Staff were polite and friendly, food was excellent and great value for money. Only downside was that due to covid restrictions we were unable to book the leisure facilities but fully understood the reasons why.

My wife and I are just back from a 2 night B & B , dinner on 1st night break. The hotel is very well organised in relation to safety measures and staff very helpful. Check in was easy and the room itself was lovely ( if a touch warm ). Dinner choices for the inclusive menu were considerable and the food itself was lovely. Slightly further from town than we expected but still only a 20 minute walk. Lovely outside seating area and ample car park. Booked use of the pool twice while there ( included in price ). We will definitely return

Nice hotel but would have preferred upper floor as had to keep windows closed. Good food,staff friendly. Lovely and peaceful. Only problem we.had was walking up and down steep hill to hotel.

Lovely hotel with lovely surroundings. And so quiet. Staff wete very accommodating and everything was spotless. Very clean, and government guidelines were adhered to. They even had bottles of hand sanitiser on each table and also throughout the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel and the staff were very pleasant and friendly. Made to feel welcome. Dinner both nights was very good. The method used for the serving of breakfast ensured COVID restrictions were followed and we felt safe and comfortable in dinning room. Plenty of choice at breakfast and food good. Room very clean and comfortable with everything you could need. Plenty of on site parking.

Although we enjoyed our stay, our room was very warm even using the fan in the room. Mix up with another couple with same surname which hotel sorted for us. Partner hit head several times on the shower rail as very close to the toilet and low. Understand we were upgraded to a double room with bed with disabled toilet. Staff very attentive at dinner. Slower service when in the outdoor area for drinks. Plenty of parking available and pleasant walk down to beach area.
