I would like to thank all the staff for their hard work and excellent detail to making our stay comfortable and safe. At no time did I feel uncomfortable or concerned regarding health and safety relating to covid19 on the premises. You have Implemented procedures and precautions throughout the hotel that you should be proud of as they made me relaxed throughout my stay. The hotel was clean, the food was really good and the staff were pleasant and helpful.My only fault was the bedroom furniture was a little dated and pillows a little too soft for me, otherwise a very pleasant stay,I will return again without doubt.

We were a party of 4 who stayed for 2 nights at Woodlands Hotel and what a wonderful time we had. Thank you to the Staff, who go out of their way to help and were all very friendly. The food was of excellent quality and plenty of it. We were there while the "Eat out to Help out" scheme was on and the hotel gave us an allowance, even though we had the "my hotel break.com" voucher to use. What a great "Deal" that was, as we had quite a large bar bill !! The rooms were great, with very comfortable beds and the most powerful shower we have ever come across in our travels. We left our car at the hotel and took the short walk to catch a 73 Bus into Broughty Ferry and Dundee, for a spot of sightseeing and shopping. The only thing we could not use was the lovely pool, due to the Government Covid 19 Guidelines, but we will certainly visit the Woodlands Hotel again, when the pool is allowed to open.

We loved this hotel! The room was bright and very clean and had everything we needed. The staff were so helpful and made us feel at ease and given current COVID procedures, we had no concerns at all. The food was excellent, breakfast was first class! We will definitely be back.

We stayed during the pandemic and the hotel felt very safe and was set up really well. We had a family room and it had everything you would expect and was great value. The food was great as well. Everything we had for dinner and breakfast was nice Table service at the bar was hit or miss depending on the staff member serving but a great we hotel in a good location

Thank you we had a most enjoyable 2 days at the Woodlands Hotel, my husband his sister and myself. Sadly the pool etc were not open but that is not the fault of the hotel. The room was roomy and spotless and the meals were excellent. Would definately stay again when we can use the facilities however the grounds and surrounding area are lovely. Thank you

Menu very basic and limited but tasted good. Hotel rooms tired and walls paper thin, we could hear every sound from neighbouring rooms. We would not go back to this hotel.

Enjoyed our stay here. Staff friendly and welcoming. Weather sunny so a nice area to have a drink outside. Large dining area so good for distancing which they are doing a good job of. Breakfast very slow on our second day due to lack of staff and was quite busy. Also tea and coffee served by the cup so finished quickly and hard to get any more, maybe tea and coffee pots would be better served. We did enjoy our stay though and they were new to working with social distancing in the dining room. 20 minute, lovely, walk to Broughty Ferry town and can also go by bus.

Hotel was ok for three star,but pool being out of operation,made a difference! Service was fine,apart from one very officious bar staff member! Food was reasonable,but supposed Sauvingon Blanc was disgusting,perhaps it was Chardonny,which I hate! Dining room was very lacking in atmosphere,no pictures,very bland ,maybe this was due to covid restrictions?

Had a great night here on the 28th of February - staff were friendly and helpful, room (we got a wee upgrade) was spotless and spacious - food at dinner and breakfast was delicious and plentiful and leisure facilities were just the job when we didnt feel like facing a windy, rainy night. We had a good night's sleep in one of the comfiest hotels beds we've been in for a while.

Great value for money and good hotel, We have spent many times here over the last three yearsand found enjoyment on each visit. We have enjoyed the ficillities on offer here, very good staff, excellent rooms. The resturant provides good meals and great selection of scottish breakfast. We love the woodlands and Broughty freey for the beach, castle and the town, we love wandering around there and like the charity shops which there are a few to explore.

Arrived Friday afternoon and there were wedding photos being taken in the reception but unusually it did not cause any problems for checking in. Our room (104) was well appointed, only small niggle, for me anyway, was the 2 seats in the room werent comfortable in my opinion, i dont always want to sit on the bed. Breakfast on the Saturday was a bit busy and we had to wait about 20 minutes for a table to become available, again not too much of a problem as it looked like the majority of guests all arrived at the same time. Breakfast itself was adequate in taste and quality, only slight point to make, by the time our eggs came we were nearly finished our hot breakfast. We used the leisure facilities on the Saturday and we both thought they were excellent value for money. All staff treated us eccellently at all times and were a credit to the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a weekend break, and we will certainly go back. This is a great addition MyHotel break.

Lovely hotel, staff very helpful and rooms were clean and comfortable. Food was very good would recommend this hotel. Broughty Ferry is a pleasant little town with some lovely shops. There is a very good play park for children with a long beach and beautiful gardens.
