Woodlands Hotel, Broughty Ferry

I must congratulate the hotel for it's service and quality of food. On the evening we were guests the hotel had a wedding and a 80th birthday party to cater for but this did not have any negative effect on their level of service, the meal was served promptly and the food was fresh and warm and delicious. Unfortunately my wife and I did not have much time to explore the local area but it's location is good for tourists. My only criticism would be that the area in the dining room where the staff welcome guests looked outdated and not pleasing on the eye. I look forward to being a guest again in the future.

Lovely place very comfortable room and very clean , pool great and bar very nice .STaff brilliant ,service superb ,breakfast 10/10 . Lovely area lots too see and do . Returning for my birthday again soon love it ? .

Overall a positive experience. Got a last minute deal for a saay night. The hotel was very busy on arrival. The small bar was completely full of wedding goers. Apparently the hotel does lots of weddings. We checked in to our room which was decent with a good sized bed and headed to the pool/ spa. It has a small pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. Pool area was fairly quiet at this time and then again the next morning. Had dinner in the hotel which was decent and fairly priced although the restauraunt is reminiscent of an old folks home and could benefit from improvement. Had a drink at the bar after dinner which was thankfully much quieter. Breakfast next morning was buffet style and was pretty good. Overall a positive experience at a fair price.

Situated in a upmarket? residential area. Plenty of car parking space. Efficient reception. Lavish breakfast spread. King size rooms. Bathroom with tub. Additional sitting chairs in room. Biscuits and chocolates with tea/coffee maker, all speak of class.

We stayed here for 5 nights and our experience was first class.All the staff are fantastic.The breakfast had a excellent choice and was good quality.we booked high tea for 30 people which was again to a excellent standard.our room was clean and had a very good shower.We used the leisure suite which again was of a high standard,we would recommend this hotel to everyone.
