This was our 4th stay at the Woodlands Hotel and again it didn't disappoint. We did online check in which made everything so easy. Our room was spotlessly clean, and bed very comfortable. The meals were excellent and very reasonably priced. All the staff from the Manager Nicki down are all friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel, great staff, good food, clean, modern rooms. However, on the food front, for such a big chain hotel, there was no offer of fat free yoghurts, skimmed milk and the fruit was tinned in syrup with no fresh cut fruit available. This is for medical reasons, I am diabetic and they could not provide it.

Just returned from woodlands hotel on 20 th October for our third visit . Love this hotel . Food good . Staff lovely . Lovely location . One of our favourites . Hope to return .grateful yo hear of any special deals

A pleasant stay. Problem with the shower the first morning was quickly sorted out. The meals were excellent and the staff were very friendly and efficient. The hotel itself is well placed and the grounds are well kept and tidy. All in all, a lovely break. I will return here at some point.

Lovely hotel. Friendly staff ( most of them) Stayed for 2 nights. Buffet breakfast but eggs cooked fresh. 1st morning perfect poached eggs. 2nd morning lovely omelette. Not too far from centre and beach. Been before and will go again.

OUR GOLDEN WEDDING ANNIVERSARY: The hotel was just fine but our booking was spoiled by five attempts to enquire about adding two guests for dinner. First we were told to contact Best Western then told it was NOT Best Western. In the end our two guests cancelled because of the uncertainty. Just three disabled bays frequently abused by Blue Badge . An after taste on a lager with lime met with shrugged shoulders at the payment point. One receptionist was unbelievably unwelcoming, without even a goodbye, let alone asking if we had a nice stay. To her it was just another booking. Big, big letdown on our anniversary day.

Lovely comfortable hotel and staff very friendly and chatty. Rooms warm and cosy. Only sad thing was the hotel is a wee bit out of Broughty ferry so needed car to go in and out if difficulty walking.

Lovely hotel bit tired in places but overall good.The staff were brilliant a special shout to Aileen in the restaurant who went above and beyond. Leisure facilities were good but never had to pay to use before sign of the times maybe.

Pleasant stay on a two night break with dinner on one night food was good and staff throughout or stay exceptional spa and pool also worth the extra charge but would be nice if included in price. Will return
