Isles Of Glencoe Hotel, Ballachulish

Stayed here on many occasions. This stay it was for a special birthday and we were so pleased to see the bedrooms and lounge areas had been upgraded to a very good standard. Food in restaurant good, but had been better on other visits. £35 for a ribeye was rather steep we thought and with 6 meals! Staff pleasant enough, some more than others, but we’re clearly very busy and at times we did wait to be served, especially on 2nd breakfast day. At night after dinner there was no atmosphere, most people (except ourselves buying drinks) went to there rooms. Would definitely recommend the Isles of Glencoe for a quiet chilled time, beautiful Scottish scenery.

Rooms were well decorated and very comfortable. Food was also of a high standard. Staff were very friendly. The only thing that let down this hotel was the smell on the first floor outside the bedrooms. The only way it could be described was a dirty mop/water smell. I know the hotel had been experiencing some leaks as there were water marks on the ceiling in the lounge area.

This hotel has been refurbished since our last visit, and very tastefully done. The menu and management of the deal option are so much better. Well done!

A great place to stay for a relaxing break. After a sauna and swim we enjoyed having a drink beside the lovely log burner in the bar/restaurant area. Nice large conservatory area to enjoy breakfast with a view and romantic meal in the evening. We really enjoyed our meals on boths nice. Lots of nice choices on the menu. Place had a Scandi feel with the boutique decor and the pretty Christmas decorations. Rooms very clean and modern and staff very helpful and friendly.

Had a lovely 2 nights stay ...the staff were all lovely and friendly, the food was really good and the rooms have now all been refurbished and look fabulous. The area is amazing there is nothing not to like about this place. Hopefully we will be back to sample more of your hospitality.

Had an amazing 2 nights stay. Got a free upgrade as it was a special occasion. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Food was lovely . The view from the room was stunning would definitely be returning soon.

Lovely 2 night break away for my 50th birthday. Have stayed before. Love the local area. Hotel is great. Deal is fantastic value. Food was included and was superb. Will be back.

Enjoyable stay in a lovely location,good food and helpful staff. Will plan to return to hotel in the summer, only disappointment was that there was no tv in the bar area to watch winter olympics and football.

We have stayed at this Hotel a few times and think its great, rooms are very large and relaxing with wonderful views. We always use the pool area which is fantastic after been out for the day, it is very clean, warm, and looks nice and cosy with the different lights in the water. The staff have always been very helpful and the food lovely with a good choice. We will return next year.

Location and view from hotel room is absolutely stunning. So glad we opted for a room with a loch view. Actual room was to good clean standard. Pool a bit on the small side but was enough to relax in, no steam room which was disappointing. Staff friendly Dinner was average, Strange combination of foods for main meal options. Plenty of food on offer at breakfast, pity the hot food was cold. Disappointed, as I had read reviews before booking and most people were very happy about the food, nothing special to me. Ideal location for those interested in walking and outdoor activ. Set in lovely little village where the locals are friendly.

Great place to stay. Staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough for you. Food was first class. Will definitely return. Our stay was certainly above the rating the hotel carries. Rooms need slight touch up and bathrooms need attention but the room is very clean.
