We enjoyed our stay at Isles of Glencoe and the food and staff were great. The only critisism I would have is on the Sunday night the resturaunt manager was of duty at night and the person in charge although very attentive was rushing about a bit like a headless chicken and when trying to have a nice relaxing meal was a bit off putting. They were very efficient so I didn't feel that this was needed, but I would definately go back and would have no problem in recomending the hotel to anyone.

Had a lovely stay as usual. I will say I noticed a few slight differences to the hotel since my stay in June 2012. Pool had a layer of scum round the edges, the sauna was not working and I hope it is not since June as it had stopped working during our stay then and there was no soap in the showers at the pool for our two day stay. Have they just been taken over by Akkeron recently as from our 1st stay last November 2011 til now we no longer get a biscuit in the room cannot get liquer coffees anymore and they seem to be catering more for bus tours. I really like this hotel and would be so disappointed if it starts to drop to the standard of Bus Tour hotels. However we will go back in new year and hope it has come back up to scratch.

This was a pleasant stay. The staff are very friendly and the hotel is in a lovely setting. The food is good, but not great, and is served too quickly making dinner feel a bit frantic. The room we had was nice and clean, good size and with a giant bed. However, the floor above creaked constantly and was a constant disturbance.

Hotel outlook is outstanding very beautiful in any weather. The staff were very nice and any problems or questions were dealt with immediately, the pool was ideal it had times when it was empty and the dinner and breakfast was delicious. Would recommend this hotel.

An amazing location. Great views from bedrooms and dining area. Food good, service fine but a little offhand. Public area a little tired and could do with chairs and settees replacing.

Arrived at the Isles of Glencoe Hotel to a nice friendly welcome. Our bedroom was a lovely size and the view onto the loch was amazing. We used the leisure facilities but the sauna wasn't working and the pool was a bit cool for our liking. Our stay had included dinner on one night but as there was a wedding on the first night, we opted for going to Fort William for dinner and decided we'd be better eating at hotel the 2nd night anyway as we were climbing Ben Nevis on the Saturday. When we arrived back early Saturday evening we went to confirm dinner but we were told the restaurant was fully booked. We told the female in the restaurant (who I believe was the General Manager, Tracy) that dinner was included in the package we

The hotel is great but would avoid if a group tour is in as the menu is very basic and is based on the tour itself. Otherwise the staff are excellent as are the hotel facilities

This was a return trip to the Isles since a few years. When I booked I was told I would have Best Available Room and was allocated a standard family room (dated decor and dated/worn furniture). When I asked for another room, it was one that was far superior thankfully. From past experience, one side of the hotel is in need of refurbishment and the other is modernised. Sadly, dinner was very disappointing. (The excellent food last time was one of the reasons we returned). Food was basic, overpriced and menu very restricted. Thankfully, it was a late offer so did not pay the full tariff. However, we were not kept waiting. The hotel is in a wonderful setting and has a lovely swimming pool but has taken a few steps back since our last visit. Hopefully things will go back to the same standard with meals and improvements to the rooms will be made.

We had a very enjoyable overnight stay, our room on the ground floor, where I have never been allocated a room before, was nicely decorated, clean and spacious. Facilities are good. All members of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was good.

We were upgraded to a superior room in arrival , very basic, wouldnt like to see standard room . Service at bar and restaurant extremely slow , there was a wedding on which clearly took priority therefor everyone else had to wait. The pool are was tiny and only 3 changing cubical for all to use ! Cubical more like tents and sauna had gaps all around the bottom so hot air was escaping tabs temperature did nt get very warm .

we have been going to the Isles of Glencoe Hotel for seven years now and the staff have always been so very friendly making sure that everything is the way you like it.Food as always is a treat the only thing I would say that has been lacking is the past twice we were there is although there is tea & coffee in the room they have stopped leaving the little packet of shortbread that used to go with it, its just the silly little thing like that that is missed.

we have stayed at the isles of glencoe a few times over the last few years but feel it is gradually becoming more a hotel for bus parties the food is very average and where you may like to relax at night over a glass of wine after a day walking the hills you find that about 11.00 they are hoovering around about you in the lounge! however the staff are friendly and helpful and the pool facilities excellent but I must admit if we go back it would be on a b&b basis only.
