Absolutely wonderful stay at the Redworth Hall Hotel, first visit and in won't be our last. Breakfast's lovely, but we didn't have any other food at the hotel. Hotel was very easy to find and with bus stop right outside didn't even have to use the car once we had arrived.

Quite enjoyed our short stay at the hotel. The only small issue was that there were no towels in the room on our arrival

Absolutely shocking worst stay in a hotel I’ve ever had. Was given a room upgrade for £20 only to be in the end with a wedding taking place, loud noise and music with laughter, shouting and arguing until 2am. Reception didn’t care and the bars and restaurants were far too busy with poor quality service and food.

Just stayed on a dine and spa day for my partners birthday, it was one of my most enjoyable stays anywhere. From arrival, to booking out every experience was met with warmth by the staff .Especially KIMBERLEY she made our stay more special with her warm caring attitude, definitely hit it off with my partner, thanks all you made my partners birthday

Absolutely shocking from start to finish. Booked a deal for overnight, B&B, wine and afternoon tea. I had to ask 3 times for the wine to be sent to the room and when it did arrive it was with dirty glasses and not chilled. Dinner on night one was terrible. Served cold/lukewarm pork and beef meatballs as a starter which was not only dangerous but was treated as an inconvenience by the staff when highlighted. I asked for a replacement, that never came, and my wife had finished her meal by this point so we got up and left. Only provided a tail by way of apology and I ended up having a packet of crisps for my evening meal. Breakfast wasn’t any better with cold bacon laying out for ages and piled high in the tray, again lukewarm sausages, cold scrambled eggs and many of the other accompanying options unavailable as not replenished. Afternoon tea was the best meal we had even though the bread clearly wasn’t fresh. However the scones and cakes were nicely done. The hotel is very dated with dirty carpets, cobwebs in the rooms and wallpaper with rips and scuffs all over it. The restaurant walls had food marks on them and it was generally in need of a deep clean and some money spent on refurbishment. All in all it wasn’t a good experience which is a shame as from the outside it is a stunning building and grounds but it is badly let down by the interior, food and the staff.

Pleasantly surprised after reading some reviews of this hotel. It needs updating but everything was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really nice with lots of choice . Would stay again.

One night stay, over all very good and worth the money. However two negatives first we were on the 4th floor and lift was out of service…and there was no bottle of wine in our room that should have been based on our booking

Redworth Hall is absolutely beautiful and surrounded by nature's true beauty's. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely member of staff, who nearly mistakenly charged us £99, luckily this was quickly rectified when we showed her our voucher again. On entering the room it was a beautiful room but there was no view, but that wasn't a problem, as the outside area was very accessible. However, my partner noticed 20 moths in the bathroom, I thought maybe the window had been left open, to air the room and the moths had entered that way. So we just went for a walk and for some food. The grounds are beautiful, home to many rabbits and birds, the seating area at the front, has the sun shining until the late evening. We then had some food in the bar area, the staff are very welcoming and were fantastic with our little boy. The food was really nice and didn't take too long to arrive, the chicken nuggets are fresh chicken breast in batter, very tasty. Back in the room I decided to wash my face and get settled for the night, my partner came into the bathroom and was shocked to see the water 'BROWN' I laughed and said that is was probably make up. She then poured a glass of water to take her tablets and to my horror the water was actually BROWN! We called reception and they were aware of this issue and hoped that it would be sorted by morning. She gave us a bottle of still and a bottle of sparkling and said that if we needed more just to call. I feel we should have been made aware of this on arrival, especially with having a just turned 2 year old. I then sat down to relax with my 2 year old son ready for bed and decided to give my Mum a quick call. My partner was on the bed and moved a pillow, she let out a massive scream! There were 4 more MOTHs under the pillow! My Mum didn't explain but said is it an old hotel and to check the carpet quickly. There were 100's!!! Especially behind the door! We called reception straight away and again this was quickly sorted. We were given a room 5 doors down. We checked every corner and there were NO MOTHs! Thank goodness! I wanted a swim in the morning, for my birthday, however my little boy was poorly in the night, so I used my towel for him to be sick on, so I can't comment on the pool area facilities unfortunately. Breakfast was 1 of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. So much choice, cereal, dried fruit, fresh fruit, nuts, yogurts, pastries, full English, perfectly cooked browns and a range of jams/marmalades.

Had a fantastic stay at this hotel and would definitely return!!! The hall itself is amazing, a bit like a tardis as we kept getting lost!! The room was spotless and clean and very comfortable. The food on an evening was amazing, as was the breakfast buffet. The staff were friendly and helpful at probably one of the worst times for us to check in, as they had a large wedding party arrive at the same time as us guests checking in a 3pm. Definitely one of the nicest deals I've had with my hotel break!! The only downside was the pool, it was so, so busy we didn't actually go in. It's obviously used by general public for spa days etc so we would never have gotten a lounger or bed. I was a little disappointed by this, as one of the main reasons I choose redworth was because of pool etc.

Room was lovely, clean & comfortable. Spa was a little crowded so not ad relaxing as we expected. Only meal we had was breakfast. Cooked breakfast had obviously been under heat lamps far too long so sausages were starting to dry out, has browns an black pudding was so dry we were unable to cut them.

Solo traveller. Had to still pay the same price as if two people sharing but it was so worth the money. Pool / spa was quiet and very relaxing. Ordered room service for my evening meal and the food and service were very good. Breakfast was filling and tasty I've been to Redworth Hall a few times now and would highly recommend, excellent value for money. Only marked the room down slightly as it was very very hot even with the windows open.

Though we did enjoy this break, I'm not sure we'd stay at Redworth again. The room was clean enough, though there were some marks on the bedding. The bathroom was clean and water warm, but the shower wasn't great in terms of water pressure. The staff were nice enough, but didn't seem very interested in chatting and we weren't made to feel overly welcome, or given a clear idea of what facilities there were and where at time of check in. We'd asked morning of check out if we would be able to use the facilities after check out and were bluntly told no. Leisure facility and restaurant staff were lovely, and service very prompt and friendly. If we were to stay here again, we certainly wouldn't be eating in the restaurant again as it's very overpriced for what it is. The hotel itself is beautiful, as are the grounds, but the calm/country aesthetic jars slightly with the feeling in the hotel like you're just one of many guests on a huge resort with staff seeming rushed and distracted, breakfast too crowded, and dinner overpriced and rushed.
