Excellent stay . From the moment we went to Reception to book in to checking out the staff were all very helpful, cheerful and friendly. Used the wonderful spa facil. Myself and Husband had a massage by Kim & Annie who were very professional at their job. We stayed in a Jacobean House Room, Room 7 and it was lovely. Spa bath, robes, a lovely view to the front of the hotel and a very comfy bed ! Would certainly book again.

Arranged as a birthday treat for my partner, prior to visiting I contact the hotel to arrange some beer and chocs in our room on arrival. Also we wanted to arrange a massage while at the spa. No one from the spa ever contacted me to arrange this so we missed out. On arrival we found four warm beers and a tiny box of choc containing four choc!! The beer I pre paid for was more expensive than on the menu in our room I'm not sure why I was charged extra!?? The choc where redicoulas for what I paid hadi know it was going to be four choc I wouldn't have bothered. Meal was beautiful and breakfast however I would stay away from the lemon cheesecake for dessert, how you can call a few biscuit crumbs and a little wipped cream and four drops of lemon curd on a plate cheese cake I will never know.

Rooms very dated and dark with wallpaper peeling off the walls under the Windows above the radiator and in other places around the room. Booked two rooms for my parents golden wedding the heating in my parents room did not work for the whole length of the stay and a portable heater was brought to the room - it wasn't ideal but was ok. To top the stay off the four of us went for our evening meal and we got stuck in the lift. Terrible experience and we didn't even get an apology or asked if we were ok when we eventually got out of the lift, bearing in mind my parents are in their late seventies, - the next morning at checkout the male receptionist made a joke of it saying "at least your out now" - all in all a bad experience which I wish not to repeat and will not be staying there again or would recommend there to stay to anyone.

I wasn't happy with the reception confirming the fee I paid out loud with the company I had, that should be kept private not out spoken, maybe 'check the amount and enter your pin' would suffice? That annoyed me from the off. Further I couldn't get a drink billed to my room in the Spa because I didn't have a credit card set when I checked in. The jacuzzi wasn't very poor and I recommend those changing rooms to be kept a lot cleaner. The food was great, good value for money. Pretty disappointed I was advised to go get my own ice for my room, only to be again redirected to the tail bar when the Spa bar didn't have any. I know I sound like I'm moaning but I've been to many hotels and Spas in the area, and have seen far better overall service. I'm unsure I would return here. Mark

This is a lovely hotel set in a fairly large countryside setting, the rooms are great, the food is excellent and the other facil (Pool/Gym/etc.) are equally good. The check-in process was handled really well and everyone was extremely friendly throughout our entire stay. I'd say that it was worth double what we got the deal for and will definitely look to stay here again in the future :)

Room was basic and clean but could do with a bit of decorating as the paint work was flaky and there was loose wallpaper on the wall. the corridors had an old foisty smell also. The food in the restaurant was nice but quite small portion sizes, I ordered the ravioli and there was 3 pieces in my bowl. We waited up to 40 minutes for staff to clear our plates even though they kept walking past our table and could see we were finished. Breakfast was nice and plenty of choice, but I am glad we booked our stay with the offer we had as I wouldn't pay the prices to stay or eat otherwise.

Could not fault our visit other than the attitude of the staff in the spa. Was made to feel like dirt by a certain individual and had to ask for help with directions as they were too busy having a chat. Other staff I met were wonderful helpful and very friendly.

Here is our honest review from our night at redworth hall hotel and spa. What a let down from start to finnish, you need to stop advertising this as a relaxing spa hotel. It is simply a hotel with pool. Ruined our aniversary night away and we certainly wont return! Booked this spa break hotel for our wedding anniversary. On driving upto the hotel it looks fantastic! Walked into reception earlier than the check in time and was told my room was ready, was not shown to room but directions given to find it were clear and we found it with ease. Room appeared spacious and clean but we were booked in for a massage so left case and went to find the spa. On entering the spa reception we were offered complimentary coffee whilst we waited for our appointment time. All looked very good at this point. Massages were completed and were to a very high standard. The girls showed us the way to enter the spa and could not have been anymore helpful. Once changed we entered the spa, what a huge let down! Children everywhere, diving in pool screaming ect. Not what we expected at all. Wooden seats around a pool full of kids, kids were not able to use jacuzzi steam room or sauna so we thought we would give them a go. Entered sauna, broken therefore unusable. Entered jacuzzi, no bubbles very weak powered jets that cut out every few minutes and tile filler floating In it that people were picking out and throwing to the side. Steam room worked very well but was full of adults looking for a few minutes peace! We chose to get out of the spa, dissapointed with the very low standards and also disappointed with the fact we booked a spa break not a hotel with a pool/steam room. Butlins pool is of higher standard and more relaxing! We went back to our room for a shower and noticed a jacuzzi bath so started to fill that. At this point we noticed a nice hole where a jet should have been and let the water out. Shower worked well but on getting out of it i caught the bath mixer tap and it fell clean off the bath! Hairdryer was powerfull and iron ok. Went for dinner and food was very nice as were the tails. On arriving back at our room i started to wash makeup off and noticed the plug was stuck in the sink so had to lean over the bath to wash it off. Beds were comfortable enough although it was two single beds pushed together. Breakfast was a disaster. Undercooked mushrooms chopped tomatoes mixed in with beans toast that only cooked blacker than black and kids digging through cereal holders with their hands. We at this point left got our case and checked out so we could go and get food elsewhere. Reception staff did not seem bothered about hearing our problems and ill certainly never return or recommend this hotel.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay. Food was delicious, service could have been better but they were very very busy so it was understandable. We will stay again and would happily recommend. Bargain I'd have paid what we paid for the whole stay just on the food. Thank you so much.
