Lovely 2 night break..Ate both nights in the restaurant ..only negative comnent is food could have been hotter..especially the chips with the fish..Had turkey dinner the second night and luckily the gravy was hot ad heated up the rest of the food..

Lovely hotel very clean, staff were very attentive and the room was a great size and met our requirements. Pool was good and breakfast the next day was 1st class with plenty to choose from. Would highly recommend.

Luvely hotel ..clean and very welcoming . we enjoyed our stay..staff very attentive and friendly ..meals were luvely and lots to choose from ..prices reasonable..spa..pool area good ..we took along a house trained puppy also ..staff were very welcoming and attentive to pets also ...I can highly recommend this hotel and outdoor surroundings..well worth visit and we will be back :)

A nice enough hotel with comfortable/clean bedroom. Pity the pool, leisure centre and spa were closed due to refurbishment, although we had been notified before arrival. Food average, although no complaints with the full Scottish breakfast! Most of the staff pleasant and attentive

Very warm welcome from reception staff. Room lovely and clean . We had a Deluxe golf view room with balcony. Pool good. Breakfast and dinner delicious , with a good choice of menu and specials on each night. Staff very pleasant and helpful. No complaints. We will return next year .

The hotel was lovely and all the staff were particularly helpful. The only issue being a limited menu due to cirstances in the kitchen. I would have liked to be informed of this prior to arrival. This would have enabled me to look for alternate restaurants that could accommodate my dog. Also as booked a junior suite, I would have expected a fridge in the room.

We received a warm welcome when arriving at the hotel and quickly checked in and directed to our room. The room was nice and had the golf view we booked. Unfortunately when checking the bathroom we noticed that the toilet was not clean ! Surely the rooms are checked by housekeeping after cleaning. We headed downstairs to go out and we reported the toilet, it was immediately called through but no apology. We reported the towel not working and someone came and changed the fuse, still not working! We had to dry clothes soaked from the rain on the corridor radiator At dinner we were directed to a table of our choice and after a short time our order taken, soup and prawns. Both arrived quickly, however the soup was cold so one of us had to eat alone and watch the other eat and then the same when the soup came back. Another couple were seated next to us snd 15 mins later their orders arrived, Stone cold soup! What kind of kitchen sends out soup cold twice! Do they not check it ? We ordered the fish and it was delicious so gold star for that. Breakfast was a big let down. The cooked breakfast (without the haggis) was 1 sausage. 2 slices of bacon, spoonful of beans and a few mushrooms. We had dinner the second night and the meal was lovely, no issues until one of us turned over our napkin and it was filthy! The staff were lovely and we had no issues other than already mentioned. We used the spa but were not told the jacuzzi was blocked off. We used a voucher for the visit but it did not state the drinks were not included. Doubt we would visit again which is a shame as its an iconic hotel.

Hotel was nice and room adequate lovely & scenic. Hotel holds an extra additional £25 per night on top of total balance, which I never experienced before. Restraunt was nice and friendly hosts. Ordered breakfast in bed which did not arrive on time as order wasn’t put through, so this was disappointing. Had to reorder and wait again which made check out rushed.

Excellent hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Beds could be bigger in the upgraded rooms. Lovely views over the golf course. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were again friendly and helpful. The spa facilities need updating but this is the only downside. The location is quiet and peaceful if that is what you are looking for. Views of the coast are stunning. Would stay again.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times and have never been disappointed. The golf view room was amazing, very clean bed comfortable and shower was a delight. Selection menu in the Bistro for breakfast and dinner was a fantastic choice. Unfortunately we did not have time to use the leisure facilities on our visit. We found the staff very courteous and friendly. We would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family

Friendly and helpful staff..Comfortable bedroom with lovely views of coastline and interesting putting green. We are an elderly couple and staff responded positively to our request for a suitable room.
