Really nice 2 night stay at Golf Hotel & Spa ! The staff were all really good, friendly and efficient ! The food was 1st class, and service was good, the updated Spa was glorious to use at the hotel, spa treatment rooms were available at cost (did not use) Nice hotel, and the area is great for walks and of course golf, Carnoustie is a lovely town.. There is a 12% service charge, which can be removed on your request !!

A very clean and well furnished comfortable hotel. Great food and a smashing breakfast. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi too. Only negative aspect was a 12% service charge in the restaurant which ate into the £50 meal voucher, this came as a surprise. I’m not against tipping for good service, but hate service charges.

Lovely two night stay in well appointed Golf View room.Hotel bar and restaurant have recently been refurbished in a contemporary design.Breakfast was cooked to order with a very good selection andcwas piping hot.Evening meals were very good.Staff were all friendly and helpful.Highly recommend the hotel.

A wonderful relaxed break away as normal. Return customers so no what standards we expect. Staff as always very professional and attentive. Standards are set a high level and maintained. Well done and we appreciate all your hard work.

At breakfast we had to eventually ask for our order to be taken, bacon and haggis were overcooked or had been sitting under a warming shelf, pancake stack smothered in too much maple syrup and was hardly warm

Fab weekend spent here. Lovely bar area and restaurant. Delicious freshly cooked breakfast and restaurant food good. Spa has had a refurb as had the dining/bar area. Rooms are tired but comfortable...bed was small for a double. Nespresso machine in room and complimentary hot drinks & biscuits. No bottled drinking water in room. 2nd visit here and will definitely return.

Lovely hotel with great views of the golf course from the rooms at the front. The food was delicious & all freshly cooked.Reception staff were helpful & friendly as were bar & restaurant staff. Room was clean with a very comfortable bed. Nice toiletries in the bathroom. We have been looking at this hotel for a while & it didn't disappoint.

Another wonderful stay , from the minute we walked in till we left it was perfect . Food was lovely and plenty of choice , our golf view suite was one of the best I’ve stayed in. Have stayed at Carnoustie many times and this won’t be our last . Thanks again myhotelbreak.com .

We had a lovely break once again here it is a favourite of ours. Im not a fan of lifts but our room was worth using the lift for. The only issue we had was no wifi in our room which seems to be an ongoing issue in certain parts of the Hotel. The service was excellent we opt for room service breakfast and it was delivered on time and the staff delivering it where friendly. We are looking forward to returning.

Did not like the new set up, no kettle in room only a small coffee machine, I don’t like coffee and you had to press the button 3 times before you got a decent cup of water for tea.Calders restaurant again didn’t like coffee/tea machine prefer to get tea pot, nowhere to put used tea bags at the table.

Booked to celebrate my 74th birthday and requested our favourite room as we had stayed before a few times.On arrival the lovely receptionist gave us the room as requested.In the room there was a lovely card from the hotel wishing me a happy birthday and 2 drinks vouchers which was a really nice touch.we had a great time as always and many thanks to all the staff.

We enjoyed our stay even though the hotel reception and restaurant were being refurbished. We had one very poor meal but the waitress removed it from our bill right away. Our room was spacious and had a great view over the golf course.

Coffee/tea machine in room not user friendly and performance questionable. A kettle would be preferable. Knocking noises could be heard late in the evening ( presumably carpet fitting or picture hanging during renovations). B Dinner was excellent. Breakfast was acceptable but bread needs to be toasted properly ! On reflection should gave re booked and stayed after renovations were finished.

Excellent hotel we absolutely loved our stay here, fantastic views of the golf course from our room, great leisure facilities, we didn’t have dinner at hotel due to work being carried out but we had breakfast which was first class and a great variety of choice. The staff we encountered were all very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!
