Was a bit disappointed when I entered the room, however a little dated this did weenend not disappoint. Staff were amazing from check in to check out, food was delicious and the spa was beautiful. We had such a good night at the tribute night.

What a fabulous friendly hotel. Comfortable room, fantastic breakfast and great dinner menu. Afternoon scones and coffee were a delight. Spa area is fresh, clean and a great pool. Already booked to return.

This was the 2nd time using the Hotel. The deal was excellent value, 3 nights for the price of two! This included 2 nights with dinner, and 3rd with breakfast only. It is advisable to book your dinner time preference. Meals are very good and portions fairly large. Breakfast is self service, but can be quite busy with a bit of a wait in queue. That said, there is a good selection on offer. Room was a twin, very small but adequate, as was bathroom with shower. Staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. I recommend, especially when there is a good offer.

Staff and food very good. I got upgraded from a single room to a cosy double room near lift because I explained I had hurt my back. I was extremely grateful for this. Can't wait until my next visit.

Lovely relaxing break. The only thing that spoilt it was the indifference of the Receptionist who is an older woman from Australia or South Africa. She is the face of the hotel but very cold and twice ignored me and left me standing. I also witnessed her giving the same indifferent service to two ladies who advised they had stayed at the hotel many times and were enquiring about a member of staff who had retired. All of the other staff were so friendly and helpful it’s a shame we were left with this bad experience from one person

Lovely stay. Greeted with a spa hamper including slippers and dressing gowns, a bottle of Prosecco with glasses and chocolate covered strawberries! Room was spacious with a lovely bathroom, had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. Breakfast was a buffet style and had great selection. Ate dinner both nights in the hotel and the food was lovely, really good menu and good prices. Spa was perfect, great clean pool and we made use of the sauna and steam room. Staff were happy and helpful.

Great trip away. Angus Hotel staff were welcoming and cheerful. Room was small but had everything we needed. Our meals on both nights were well prepared and very tasty, as was the breakfast. Would definitely recommend the hotel to others.

Another amazing stay at the Angus Hotel. Excellent staff, from check-in, restaurant, bar, breakfast all through to check-out, everyone was amazing. Tried the newly refurbished Spa and Swimming Pool. The facilities were fantastic. The pool was nice and warm, the Steam Room, Sauna and Jacuzzi were a joy to use. Overall, would highly recommend the Angus Hotel for anyone looking for a nice, comfortable, relaxing break.

We had a lovely stay. Great hotel, though we felt one of the bedrooms was a bit small for two. Superb spa facilities, though I think the heated pool/jacuzzi is not well positioned or easy to access. Getting up to the height of it and getting into it has to be well thought out before trying- a health and safety risk/nightmare. Who actually designed this? Not anyone practical and with real people in mind. Lack of thought…. Not inclusive, lots of folk might want to go in, but is not designed or built with accessibility and inclusiveness in mind, that’s for sure.

Have stayed at the Angus many times, we upgraded to the square facing room and would say this is worth the little bit extra. Although the music from the bar was loud in the room (109) but did go off at 11pm when the bar closed. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The meal on first night was good, service was a bit slow same as last time we stayed. We had almost finished our meal before or drinks arrived after we had asked about them twice, to me told the bar was busy(note get your own drinks at the bar before going to your table). Spa area was clean and enjoyable, it was disappointing the hot tub was not working. On the whole another very enjoyable 2 day break.

Room was meant to be a quiet room but very noisy on Saturday night due to tribute night noise until 12.30 am. Shower took approximately 20 mins to get any to come through Shower head. Room key did not work in Spa area. After complaining to reception we were given a free dinner on the Sunday night. Staff were very helpful throughout

The hotel itself was lovely, the bars etc looked good. The room was ok, could’ve used a bit of TLC but was clean and had everything we needed. Unfortunately our food wasn’t the best - we had dinner the first night and it was lukewarm and arrived before our drinks. The food itself was quite bland and the portion size was very small. The breakfast was good, with a good selection. Most of the staff were nice, but there were a few who could use some customer service training - we did take into account it was very busy though, so may have just been because of that. The spa was lovely - enjoyed the jacuzzi.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay,staff were really pleasant and helpful whenever needed. Restaurant meal was very good as was breakfast with plenty of variety. Pool etc very good and easy to access and book. Would definitely return at some future date.

The staff where friendly and helpful. Could have had better choice in menu our last stay food choice was better. Room clean only problem was the bed it was so uncomfortable springs sticking in us all night did not sleep well did tell reception when we checked out and they said they would tell maintenance

Due to storm we traveled up earlier than planned to the area, we arrived late but was still met with a very helpful member of staff who explained everything, we did not have dinner but had the breakfast next morning, good breakfast selection.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay, room was spotless clean with a comfy bed, dinner was excellent with a great choice to suit every taste, although we weren't there for the tribute night we were pleasantly surprised to find there was also entertainment in the lounge on Friday night, staff were lovely and friendly and couldn't do enough for you, all in all we had a great time and will definitely be going back.
