Very pleasant stay and the bedroom was to a high standard. The tribute act was very entertaining and the disco played a good variety of music. The only disappointment was the meal on the night of the cabaret. It stated on menu beforehand that you could choose from the bay tree menu if the fixed menu was not to your liking. However when we tried to order from the bay tree menu we were informed that this was not possible. It was also necessary to order all 3 courses from the fixed menu right at the start. It would be useful to be able to order desert after the first two courses if it was then required. I know it is a very busy evening but a little more time tending to customer requirements would go a long way to ensuring an even more enjoyable evening.

Room ,food ,and staff were excellent .We didn't know there was a tribute night on when we booked.On arrival we asked about paying to join in, but it wAS Full.On the saturday night the lounge was empty as nearly everyone was at the show.There was no entertainment for us and no one to talk to . We went to our room but could hardly hear the TV for the noise of the band , it was very loud.We couldn't get to sleep till after the show finished ,which was well after midnight.I don't think you should book rooms on tribute nights when there is no room to attend the show.At breakfast everyone was saying they enjoyed the show and we would likely have enjoyed it to , but it was no fun for us at all

Thorougly enjoyed our stay for our anniversary. So did my parents. Next time we visit we'll try one of the tribute nights.

The hotel staff were pleasant enough but service for food was extremely slow and was disappointed when we went from table 1 to table 10 for the meal and tribute night, as we couldn't see entertainment and kids couldn't either. Breakfast was ok, but had to ask for plates...eggs...bacon etc as was empty. Stairs to swimming were soaking which was very dangerous and doors into swimming were locked in the morning so had to go ask at reception to open it which is a bit inconvenient when you are in your swimming suit, pool was ment to be open from 9am and this was 9.20am. Could do with a lick of paint and a real good clean because it is a lovely location and nice hotel....just bit run down.

The Hotel was in the middle of the town so easy to find, we had the swimming pool to ourselves which was great. The staff were friendly, would come back again. Great value for money.

Love this place and been back on numerous occasions, however this time we had the worst weekends sleep as bed was very uncomfortable.

Issues with public using hotel car park,staff were aware of this and did nothing about it.Room wall was stained but as only there for a couple of days we never bothered to complain.Pool full of local kids on the Sunday morning spoiled relaxation aspect.Food average on set menu.

The booking was for three couples and we were all on different levels of the hotel but this was possibly my fault and not letting classic Britain know. Also one room had a small bed which was very neat for a man of 6 feet. Although staff was very helpful and professional We would definitely use this hotel again. On tribute the Tom Jones show was good but had to only do one stint due to bad throat.

Hotel room was spotless and very comfy.disappointed that the tom Jones tribute act didn't come on for the second part of the show..food was fine but there is room for improvement..a better choice in the set menu...but overall a lovely weekend away and I would rebook.

The only problem I had in our room was there was only one side light could have done with one on either side, as the small lights in ceiling were not even above that side of the bed.

Offer was with upgrade. Room adequate. Meal on Wednesday 11 March was not a good experience at all. I had pate which was a funny colour and did not touch. Husband had soup which was OK.Main I had the chicken with bbq sauce not nice at all tasted strange my potatoes were green inside. Cheesecake was nice. We had a burger in our room the following evening. Overall very disappointed as I have been to the aangus on a few occassions. Also before breakfast was not buffet silver salvers hard to use.

Very nice hotel. Room was good size and bed comfortable. Shower in room was disappointing. Food was very good, especially the breakfast. We spent some time in the pool which was nice but again showers a bit disappointing and would have liked the privacy of a shower in the changing room rather than at poolside. I would definitely come back. Staff also very friendly and helpful.

Room smelled very strongly of chlorine as located above swimming pool. Food lovely, waiting staff friendly and very efficient. Misunderstanding over booking with therapist resolved as well as possible.

Food was good, although breakfast on the second day had a few problems. The orange segments were off and tasted "fizzy" and the plates for the hot food were put out and a few were dirty. However on pointing this out the plates were changed immediately so that compensated for these issues.

Very nice hotel, only complaint was our room and bathroom a bit small. Staff very pleasant and helpful,. Food very nice as well would recommend tribute wknd good value for money.
