Lovely post NewYear break to the hotel. Spoke to Lorraine on reception to book spa treatments in advance as bd also about dinner reservation. Helpful and cheery. Bar and restaurant staff also cheery and attentive. We enjoyed our stay, thank you!

Had a lovely overnight stay, the main positive the hotel is the staff they were all so lovely and attentive. We both had the steak and it was one of the best steaks we had and more than enough we didn’t manage a pudding. Would definitely go back.

We had a great time and the food was lovely. Greame was a great person as Lorraine was. The Spa was nice and cosy.

Staff always welcoming and friendly throughout, rooms simple but clean. Bar/restaurant modern and had a good atmosphere. Bar food lovely.

Lovely grounds on approach to the hotel. laidback, relaxed atmosphere. Food was nice, 2 course lunch mon-fri £9.95. No way would i have said it was only a 3* hotel.

We had a lovely time at hotel once again. Only fault was we had fire alarm at 2.40am and the night porter didn’t know what he was doing. Someone had been smoking and set alarm of. Did speak to manager in morning about events that went on from fire alarm and he did say he would have them rectified.

Really enjoyed our stay, friendly staff. Room was fine although I believe they are undergoing refurbishment which will be a good thing once the decor has been upgraded. Bed was comfy, bathroom was great. Room warm and facilities were all there. Private changing in the swimming pool changing rooms would have been appreciated as I have a medical condition and didn't feel comfortable changing in public. However, they were clean I liked the underfoot heating and no complaints about the sauna.

Enjoyed our stay staff very helpful & friendly Food good only downside room disappointing Having upgraded to prestige room We have been in standard rooms elsewhere with better facilities we felt room shoul have at least two chairs @ occasional table As it was one had to sit on the bed! Unfortunately no fault of the hotel but a selfish guest “ smoking” set off fire alarm at around 3am -fire warden did not give any direction @ no roll count was taken

Lovely hotel in a beautiful location. Comfortable beds. Recommend the steak on a rock, but breakfast only ordinary. All in, would recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel for one or two nights getaway with nice grounds for morning walk.we stayed in 213 bit cold on entry to room due to older window's but once the radiator's where switched on nice and toasted.friendly arrival at reception bar staff attentive and friendly we just ate in the bar area which was fine breakfast in the morning was buffet which was hot and plenty of selection was great from hot or cold.did not use the spa facilities this time round but they are very good from past visits. Loved our visit to Barony Castle, the hotel is set in beautiful grounds, Autumnal colours were amazing and the Polish map a "must see". This is our second visit this year and I can't wait to go back! The facilities are great, food amazing! We had a slight hiccup with an issue but the hotel had it all fixed within 20 minutes and a sincere apology! Hotels like this are hard to find and we will definitely return.

Had a lovely 2 night stay. Room quite small but very clean. Enjoyed meal both nights, staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back again.

Lovely hotel. Spa area warm and relaxing, pool small, didn't use changing rooms as we had bathrobes. Rooms clean but perhaps a little dated - beds very comfy and clean too! Food in restaurant and bar area also very good with attentive staff - book restaurant in advance especially at weekends! Lovely area with lots of nice weeks around the castle. Would recommend for a relaxing get away.

Coffee machine had no instructions had the night porter up to room 3 times to figure it out . Also shower did not work .

Excellent hotel with lovely grounds and pleasant staff. Food first class and so was the service at breakfast and dinner. Rooms very clean and sufficient. Lounge and bar staff good as well.

lovely staff, good choice at breakfast, Room was a bit tired but spotless and really only needed to sleep there. Good value for what I paid so no complaints. Nice grounds too. Overall would not hesitate to recommend.
