We had a very pleasant and relaxing break,all staff were really nice and helpful. A perfect location to explore the heritage site also lovely walks up the clyde valley to view the waterfalls.

Lovely hotel set in an awesome location. Pleasant welcome and a clean room with giant comfortable bed. Opening windows, so fresh air in room. Even a proper bath.

Booked a last minute overnight stay at the New Lanark Mill Hotel and had a fabulous time. Located in a beautiful setting with great leisure facilities on site, it is a perfect getaway option! The breakfast/dinner included in our stay were fabulous and we also enjoyed a couple of treatments in the spa to top off our weekend. Great experience all round, totally recommend!

Been here many times was there in April was with granddaughter room beautiful as usual clean .dinner slightly disappointing as chips were so small and not looking like chips fish was lovely sweet delicious pool was great walks and museum fantastic staff friendly will be back

Can’t fault the hotel in terms of the cleanliness and the scenery of the place, but what I will say is that the food is atrocious… especially the breakfast in the morning as it wasn’t even cooked and which I didn’t eat or even attempt to complain about as trying to get a member of staffs attention was hard enough.

This was a 70th birthday celebration with family. Myself, my wife, daughter, son-in-law and 2 teenage grandchildren. We booked 3 rooms and dinner, bed and breakfast at a cost of £1,080 for 2 nights. As a couple we have stayed several times and love the location so were confident in our choice. At check-in I was asked for full payment immediately which I did. It was only after payment went through that we were informed that key card system was broken and we would require to go to reception to have a member of staff to use a master key to let us in. I do not need to elaborate on how inconvenient this was for a party of 6. I am almost certain that reception staff were told not to reveal key card issue until payment was made which I feel is a very unprofessional way to run a business. As requested, we also booked restaurant times for breakfast and dinner. At breakfast in morning we were then informed that as a delivery had not arrived, selection was limited (portions were extremely small) and they only had one chef so there may be a delay. We are not unreasonable people and understand that situations arise. However breakfast on the second morning was even worse. It took 45 minutes to arrive. 3 of the orders were wrong, 2 were cold and when asking for the correct orders we were made to feel we had no right to complain! I would like to stress that individual staff members were helpful and friendly under extremely difficult cirstances but as a company we were extremely disappointed and it did spoil a very special occasion.

Had a lovely stay at the hotel, room was immaculate, the food was fabulous and the spa and pool were really nice. The night we stayed the hotel had a problem with the card key locks on the room doors and the staff were very professional and helpful.

From day of arrival, until the day we 'had' to leave.... we had a great stay at New Lanark Mill Hotel! We were both well looked after by nice, pleasant and at tentative staff. The hotel is very welcoming, clean and very tidy and as with it being a part of the Heritage Centre - it has lots of interesting information and artifact around the hotel and surrounding area. We were very happy that there was hardly any noise or disturbances around us and it was lovely to hear the calming water running. The food was delicious served in the restaurant from Breakfast to Evening meal, again served by pleasant and attentative staff.... We hope to get back to The New Lanark Mill Hotel again....

We have used my hotel break many times, but this time I feel I need to leave a review about our stay at Lanark mill hotel. It’s hard to imagine what it would have been like dreds of years ago when it was a fully working cotton mill. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and well maintained, it’s clean, airy and bright inside with breathtaking views over the river Clyde and looking over to an enchanted and tranquil forest. Our room was more than we expected, large windows, large space and very spacious beds. The mini fridge was a wonderful addition too. After we settled in we went off to take advantage of the spa which was also included, yet again faultless and came away feeling relaxed and refreshed. We had booked up on the Dinner, bed and breakfast deal, tried for many years but it was always fully booked whenever we tried, but this time we hit lucky, we booked our evening meal for 20:30, we both had a starter and main meal, which again was faultless and bloody gorgeous as was breakfast which was full Scottish breakfast, all very well presented. Before our journey back to Newcastle we had to explore the cotton mill museum and the other surrounding heritage buildings, it was very interesting and has fantastic history and legacy behind it. I couldn’t finish this review without mentioning the staff , especially at Lanark Mill Hotel, from setting foot in there we where treat with respect and made to feel special, All the staff are wonderful and go above and beyond to make your stay is the best, we never return to a place we have been but we definitely will be going back to this wonderful little Scottish gem Corrine Dyer

Lovely hotel and location. The leisure facilities were excellent- lovely warm pool and bubble pool. Dinner was really tasty and a good choice. Breakfast not so good. Very limited continental choice and I had to send my cooked breakfast back as it was cold. Won’t stop us returning though.
