Lovely night away, room was clean and had everything you needed for an overnight, check in staff were really helpful, the waiting staff were awesome and the dinner which was part of the deal was excellent, only had cereal for breakfast so can’t comment on that, this is our 2nd visit and we will be back

Fantastic Hotel, room clean, nicely decorated, plenty toiletries. Food was amazing, it was burns weekend & had haggis, keeps & tatties, absolutely delicious, breakfast was great too plenty of choose. Fabulous overnight ?

Hotel is well decorated the lounge and bar area are lovely very comfortable and inviting . The meals were beautiful. Good choice of breakfast Rooms nice and clean a little bit dated but looks like they are in the process of refubishing. Would definitely recommend/return

We stayed 3 days over new year, durring our confirmation, check in and all dealings with the staff there was nothing but polite, well mannered, knowledgeable and friendly, welcoming discourse. We had the loveliest of breaks thanks to your staff and the way they interacted with us! Happy to recomend your hotel and your wonderful staff!

Had another fantastic stay at Riverside Lodge. Very friendly staff throughout the hotel. Lovely food at both dinner and breakfast. Lovely hotel. Great atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return again. Highly recommend.

I booked this fantastic offer as a surprise for my partners birthday on 28th December as it always gets lost in the midst of the festivities, and I am really glad I did. The hotel is very modern, clean, well laid out, and all round comfortable. The staff were very welcoming, accommodating and pleasant allowing me to hijack 2 booths in the bar to decorate and accommodate guests arriving for drinks later. The 2-course meal included was really enjoyable and set us up nicely for his birthday celebrations. The bar prices were reasonable, in fact I know for sure I would have paid more in most hotel bars. We slept like logs (aided I am sure by the copious amount of gins consumed), the varied breakfast was fantastic, a fried egg would have been preferred but you cant have it all. All in all I was super impressed by the great value for money, the comfortable surroundings, and friendly service from the staff. I would highky recommend this hotel for a comfortable and relaxed escape for a night or 2. I have spent more on a night out!

Lovely hotel, everything was spotless. Friendly efficient staff, food was delish, couldn’t fault anything. Paid £200 per person for 2 nights, 2 breakfast, 5 course Xmas day lunch and a bottle of wine in the room, absolute bargain. We will return.

Well what can I say. From arrival until departure was first class. Our meal was superb. And the drinks very reasonably priced. All the staff where very nice & welcoming. I shall return very soon. Absolutely delighted with my stay.

Stayed for one night to celebrate our Anniversary, booked the DBB deal which included bottle of wine on arrival and late check out. Hotel was lovely, clean and staff friendly. Dinner was fabulous, plenty choice at breakfast both hot and continental. We paid £25 to upgrade to one of the Garden Room, which was a lovely big room with 2 double beds and doors opening out onto the garden. Unfortunately our radiator & towel rail did not work and we reported this at 5.15pm, by the time we went to dinner at 6.40pm no one had arrived to check on this. We asked at reception if someone would be going to look at the issue and they seemed not to know about it. However, within 15 mins the issue was resolved - heating and towel rail were not working but they offered to either swap room or have an electric heater brought to room. Definitely will return to the hotel, maybe try one of their party/tribute nights they have advertised.

The hotel is a warm and inviting home from home experience. With the bar and restaurant accommodating to all needs, you may never have to leave! The decor is modern and the family rooms are very nicely decorated with modern shower and dressing table area. Occasionally there is live music in the bar area and this cannot be heard from the rooms so you can choose whether to enjoy it or chill out in your room. I have to say after several stays at this hotel the staff really make this hotel the place it is! From the reception to the housekeeping staff and the banqueting staff everyone is friendly and can’t do enough to make your stay 10/10. I can’t recommend The Riverside Lodge Hotel and Restaurant enough.

Hotel was clean all over,bedrooms had everything we needed with nice bed and tea and coffee as well.Food was very good but I didn’t like the fact that after booking dinner,bed and breakfast with bottle of wine deal you were not allowed to drink it in restaurant but expected to pay for massively overpriced wine instead.

Hotel and staff were very good, same as last time we stayed there. My only complaint is that the time booked for our meal was 6pm which the hotel had changed to 5.30 as there were 8 of us booked for dinner. We were all attending a family funeral the next morning that the hotel were also catering for. We arrived at 5.15 but were not served our meals until 7pm! A very long time to wait with younger family members! The restaurant did not seem overly busy either.
