We had room 143 as we paid for an upgrade to have more space. It was a nice room and had a fridge which was a lovely surprise. It has been well used and a bit shabby but very clean. I would suggest they check the fan before warmer weather. Lasting impressions are quality of food and the chirpy staff.

Had a fantastic stay at this hotel staff very friendly food was very good and our room was lovely and very spacious we also took our dog with us and we where all made to feel very welcome will definately be back at this hotel

Bedroom was beautiful very large but unfortunately there seems to be a lack of air conditioning in the hotel so the room was boiling hot . There was a small fan provided but it didn't really help. The staff were all excellent couldn't really do enough to help. Breakfast food wasn't great quality and not a lot of choice of hot items. Also they need a new toaster as the one they have cremates the toast !

Loved our Short break at menzies (again) , have been to menzies irvine before and was very happy to return, our room was lovely , although some furniture could have done with some tlc, very quiet and peaceful, food was amazing as always , all staff very pleasant and discreetly attentive, nothing i could see fault in, would recommend to anyone , cant wait to return !

Beautiful bedroom a full 200 yards from the dining room. Alternative offerd but as it was inferiior we decided to stay put abd use wheelchair. Staff vry friendly and cooperative. first morning breakfast could not be faulted but second morning was poor.precooked food was cold and uninviting.Hotel is good but beginning to show signs of requiring redecorating and corner cleaning.Dinner on both nights was good. We would return.

STAYED OVER ON A DBB DEAL TO CELEBRATE MY BIRTHDAY.WE ALL HAD A VERY ENJOYABLE STAY WITH AN EXCELLENT FAMILY ROOM (HUGE 2 DOUBLE BEDS,A SINGLE AND 2 ARMCHAIRS )FOOD AT DINNER WAS SUPERB AS USUAL WITH GOOD STANDARD OF SERVICE (SECOND TIME WE HAVE STAYED HERE).THE ONLY GRIPE I HAD WAS THE STANDARD OF SERVICE AT BREAKFAST, THERE DIDNT SEEM TO BE ANY ATTENTION TO REPLACING FOOD AT THE BUFFET WHEN IT RAN OUT AND I WAS SLIGHTLY DISSAPOINTED THAT I DIDNT GET ANY SAUSAGES IN FACT HAD TO PINCH ONE FROM MY MOTHER.ALL IN ALL A GREAT HOTEL AND THIS MINOR OVERSIGHT WOULD CERTAINLY NOT HINDER ME/US FROM VISITING AGAIN.

Great hotel, however we booked an evening meal and had to wait ages between each course. It took over 2 hours to have a 3 course meal and that wasn't the hotel busy. Meal was average but half of the steak was still raw even although it was ordered as medium to well done!!!.

Booked a double and a family room for overnight stay on DBB package,Rooms spacious clean and tidy.All staff very helpful and friendly.Kids get to check -in and are issued with a bracelet that entitles them to free ice cream and juice during their stay,great idea.Food excellent although cooked breakfast could have been hotter.Some items in rooms could do with maintenance staff attending too,Phone in our bathroom had been dropped previously and was in bits on our arrival,iron in my daughters family room had black burnt clothing stuck to it that appeared to have been there for some time and could not be used.Saturday evening a young man played piano in lounge,great way to relax with a drink.With the exception of the minor maintenance items a great place to stay and great value for money on the DBB rate.Tip for the Bar Manager don't remove the remote for Sky Tv from the lounge,Staff could not find it to change channel for football results(Gillette Soccer Saturday )every footie fans favourite.Would definetley stay here again

Staff are welcoming and friendly. Dinner on the first night was lovely and plenty to eat at breakfast. Room was big and beds were comfy. Would stay here again.

My wife celebrated her birthday during our stay and we received the lovely surprise of a bottle of wine and a card in the room. What a nice touch!
