The hotel was lovely room were as well really compy bed and 1st class foot but was let down by the fact we had paid £20 each to upgrade to a garden room only to fine there was no step to get out the patio door and it was at least a foot high for older people like ourselves it was hopeless and to be honest a waste of £40 it should be noted about this when booking

Love the Riverside Lodge Hotel one of our favourite places to stay we were lucky to get one off the patio rooms especially with the weather food was excellent and service was fantastic will be back soon

Absolutely enjoyed our stay for the night. I booked two rooms, one for my sister and myself and one for mum and dad. Rooms were great, clean and spacious with a bottle of wine to welcome us! The restaurant and bar were second to none and we enjoyed having drinks in the sun garden. The staff were very attentive and nothing was a trouble- WILL definitely be back! 5*

We were offered no room upgrade option, the food menu was limited due to a supplier issue but wasn’t communicated. We were then charged a £12.50 supplement on dinner each for a steak that was over cooked and so tough. We ended up spending £70 for a dinner which was meant to be included in the price yet we couldn’t get an al a carte menu. The wine in our room was roasting hot, this was placed in front of the window in the heat and no ice bucket either. Room is very dated and the TV quality was terrible as well. When checking out we were asked did we enjoy our stay, when saying no and the reasons it was just ok thanks.

Well what can I say about this break?? One word Amazing, the hotel was amazing from reception staff being friendly to the bedroom that was massive and spotless and the food was amazing as well, will defo be back again.

Room was very spacious and well decorated, bathroom not too bad just a bit dated. Reception area’s and public area’s stunning dinner in restaurant was amazing and breakfast had plenty of choice and was off good standard. Staff were very helpful and professional. Arrived to a very nice looking lobby and restaurant. The rooms were old and need some TLC. Walls were marked, skirting boards missing paint and cks out of it. The bathroom had a towel which was in the sink covered with make up from previous guest. Our room was allocated to the front of the corridor. We could hear every guest and conversation going by. Food was greasy and both myself and my son had an upset stomach from the oils. We checked out in the middle of the night opting to return home as we could not relax in the room due to the noise. Very disappointed and total waste of money.

Dinner was very nice and tasty and plenty of it. Breakfast was ok had to ask for more toast tea was cold and no tea spoons. Second stay breakfast service not much better lots of uncleared tables and told to sit anywhere unlike first morning we were seated which was more attentive. Room was ok although when turned down the bed we found the sheet to be stained, clearly visible to whoever made up the bed. Pillow was more like half a pillow as it had more pillow slip than filling!.

Beautiful hotel with lovely staff. Bathrooms could be updated a little but rooms were clean. There was a wedding going on the same night we were staying but experienced no noise from party or from other guests. Food was amazing. Beautiful carp pond as you go into the restaurant, could do with a clean. Would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again.

Myself and my daughter came on Friday 19th May for an overnight stay, just to spend some time together, the hotel was fab, easy to find and staff were so friendly. Rooms were lovely and bright and had everything you needed. Food and tails were amazing also, will definitely return with my husband. Hopefully you will put another great deal on

We have used myhotelbreak.com on my occasions. Our most recent break was to the Riverside lodge Hotel in Irvine, this is by far the best venue we have stayed at to date. The quality of service from the staff was first class, we were also given a free upgrade to our room on arrival which was special. All of this was topped off with a wonderful meal and breakfast the following morning. We cant wait for our next visit to the Riverside Lodge.
