This hotel was well up to standard and provided good public areas; comfortable, spacious rooms and a pleasant restaurant with fine food.

This is the second time at this hotel. The staff were attentive and very good at what they did. Food had an excelent choice at breakfast and dinner. I have no hesitation in recomending this hotel

Had a first class stay and the food was excellent. Bar,restaurant , and reception staff were exceptional and thanks to Paul for the coffees. Rooms very good size and everything you would need for a break .Very good value.

Been to this hotel a number of times. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Rooms spacious, clean and always able to relax and unwind there. My only complaint this time round was the beds were uncomfortable needing renewing... Food was up to its usual very good standard.. will go back in the future

Room was ok apart from dust all over bedside lamps, not been cleaned for a while methinks, dinner was a disappointment, last time we stayed there you could order from the a la carte menu and with certain items you paid a little extra, this time you were given a set menu, the starter was poor, the main was ok and the sweet was a disaster, it was called Eton mess but to us it was just a mess, more like a berry yogurt couldn't find any meringue in it,even the waitress was embarrassed and said it looked a bit thin, breakfast on first morning was tasty but cold, don't know if they forgot to turn the hot plate on, second morning was fine apart from no eggs no crossoints no milk which the waiter eventually got for us, overall we were quite disappointed this time as we have stayed here a few times before and thought it was great value for money but we feel a few things have slipped. Must thank Paul the manager for keeping his promise of an upgrade next time we booked after a sleepless night in June due to another incident, sorry we never saw you Paul to thank you personally. Overall I think we would stay again as it is an ideal spot for our needs in Ayrshire when we come down quarterly .

we enjoyed our visit as always but were disappointed with standard of cooking and presentation at dinner. the standard is normally so high that it was a shame to have over cooked stringy chicken, poorly presented. in general our meals were well below the norm for this hotel. food apart everything else was first class

lovely hotel lovely staff and lovely food. only downfall was no seated area outdoors to relax and enjoy a drink on a nice day. could also do with better entertainment on a saturday night. have no problem returning to this hotel.

The only adverse comment I could make was the hotel could tidy up its outside play area. It was overgrown with weeds and the fence was of dis-repair.

Hotel made an excellent base for exploring this area of Scotland. Bedroom was hugely spacious and very comfortable. Service was excellent from all staff and there was the added bonus of an excellent pianist playing on the Friday and Saturday evenings during our stay. Food was excellent with a wide range of choice at both dinner and breakfast. Would definitely return and recommend highly.

Very large bedroom but furniture a bit tired. The food was good but a limited variety if you are on a DBB package. All staff very pleasant and helpful. Great location for touring the Ayrshire coast.

stayed5th & 6th july. had an excellent experience. upgraded to de-luxe at no extra charge. room superb,staff in every dept were efficient, friendly and helpful. we will definitely return and hopefully that will be soon

Would definitely recommend this hotel to classic Britain customers . The staff were excellent and made us very welcome. Brilliant location and within easy reach of the Ayrshire coast. Will definitely go back again using Classic Britain.

love this hotel,the staff are very nice and the rooms are very clean as the cleaners work very hard.The new style menu is great and the food is lovely,the beds are so comfortable i nearly sleep in in the morning for breakfast,cant wait to return to this hotel.
