Excellent, helpful staff. Beautiful bar/restaurant area...food was fabulous. Room lovely but bathroom bit dated..really the only thing I could fault. Well worth the money and definitely would stay again.

Lovely local night away Food was lovely dinner and breakfast Service at dinner was very slow Bedroom was small on the ground floor and needed some TLC looking on to houses Bed and pillows were super comfy slept great. For DBB and bottle of wine...great buy and would do it again. Maybe upgrade to bigger room next time

We had a lovely stay at the Riverside Lodge. We’ve stayed at this hotel a couple of times before and have always really liked it. The hotel reception and lounge area is clean and modern with lots of comfortable contemporary furniture and very welcoming feature fires. We had a fabulous big room on the ground floor with 2 double beds . This was obviously an upgrade as mentioned in our myhotelbreak deal along with a very drinkable bottle of red wine. Dinner was delicious and all staff were very friendly and helpful at dinner and breakfast. We will definitely be back and have no hesitation in recommending the Riverside Lodge.

Once again, we had a lovely stay. Set menu on the first night was excellent. Turkey dinner was a feast. A lovely welcome from Katherine and her team in the restaurant. Room was lovely and warm, with easily adjusted heating. Cannot fault this hotel and look forward to returning again soon.

The hotel was lovely, food lovely & staff were excellent,the only thing was I was in room 217 & with no lift it was not ideal as we are both disabled, I mentioned this to the girl when checking out and stated that I would give the hotel a call next time to ensure we are on the ground floor.

We had a fantastic stay at the Riverside Lodge Hotel with friends, the hotel has a lovely atmosphere, all staff are very friendly and welcoming. The hotel has been renovated to a high standard with beautiful decor, our rooms were very spacious and very clean, the beds was comfortable and we had a perfect sleep. Our dinner and breakfast was delicious. We had booked through myhotelbreak.com and had dinner, bed and breakfast, with a bottle of wine in our room on arrival, all for £79, which we thought was a brilliant deal. Can't wait till our next visit.

Another very enjoyable experience @ Riverside Lodge Hotel (multiple repeat business) . From arrival book-in through to departure it was extremely enjoyable . Courteous & pleasant staff , lovely facilities & backed up with excellent food & refreshments . The standard is set - please maintain it .

Room was beautiful and very spacious, had everything we needed for our stay. Curtains were amazingly thick keeping out draft and light, loved that we could control heating to our liking. Food was amazing, we had a great dinner. I was able to get some oat milk for room, sadly when we went for breakfast there was no plant milk available. I did manage to get something for breakfast though, would like to have had some spread for toast though. Maybe something to think of for future, not just for vegans but for dairy free people as well. Loved seeing the fish and the other guests dogs, staff were friendly. We will definitely be back.

Excellent overnight stay at the riverside lodge, Rooms were lovely and spacious. The food was excellent and a fantastic choice for breakfast. Highly recommend we have booked again for the end of December

Third time staying at this hotel this year & still giving same five stars. Received upgraded rooms on arrival, which was so good as there was no guarantee that this would be available. Beds were so comfortable and room nice and warm. Evening meals were excellent as well as breakfast. Presume same 5 star chef inc presentation. Staff in restaurant/bar were all so pleasant as well as reception staff. Facilities 100%. Elsewhere you would pay more than double the price for all we got. Fantastic stay and hope to return in the Spring 2024 and so forth through the year (haven’t sat out in the terrace as yet but hoping to do so in better weather). Lucy.
