Got to stay at this Hotel due to an offer of DBB for £44.50pp this was an outstanding offer, the choices for dinner were superb and absolutely delicious, we paid the extra for a 3rd course only complaint was the sundae ordered for the price was more like a kids ice cream size but other than that overall great value. Would definitely recommend and we will be back.

We spent a very enjoyable overnight at this very comfortable establishment. From the time we arrived, we were looked after by very friendly, attentive and professional staff without exception. The foyer is tastefully decorated and spacious as was the bar and restaurant. Well kept grounds and a good sized terrace were available to enjoy the sunshine. Our rooms were well furnished and all topped off with high quality cuisine. We have already booked to return later this year.

This hotel is excellent value for money. The inclusive dinner menu was well cooked and presented with plenty of choice. Breakfast was also very good. Bedroom furniture is a bit dated but perfectly acceptable. Service was mixed, excellent at dinner, rather patchy at breakfast. We would (and almost certainly will) return.

Lovely stay here.Food 1st class.If I had any complaints about the hotel it would that we found the rooms and hallway carpets could be doing with a good hoovering, also a bit wary of cleanliness in room when dogs are allowed to stay

Excellent Hotel Excellent Service My wife and I stayed for 4 nights from 29th Aug, room 157, We had a first class stay, we were B/B for 4 nights with 2 x evening meals. Buffet breakfasts ran like clockwork, all food was very good and all staff were welcoming. This hotel just seems to get better each time we stay

What excellent value (again!) Excellent food; friendly and helpful staff. A lovely, quiet location; lots of grounds for walking - and the beach only a mile away. Criticism: There seems to be NO attempt to care for the Environment: the often-found notices about saving towels for use on Day 2 (or put them in the bath: they'll be replaced) don't exist. Towels are just renewed daily (as are the soap bars!) - regardless. Shocking; careless; surprising ...? Would we stay there again: 'YES'!

Enjoyable 2 day break. Everything was spotless. Evening meal on first night was excellent and breakfast good. Service was outstanding and all staff pleasant and polite. Will be back.

On the positive side the food was good, the reception area is lovely and there is plenty of parking spaces. Unfortunately that is where the good review stops. The bedrooms are tired and grubby. The furniture is well worn and chairs were torn. The bath and shower curtain was dirty. Housekeeping services did our room but didn’t leave hand towels. When I asked the girl she said they were waiting on a delivery of hand towels and they would be delivered to our room. I am still waiting. For some strange reason our extractor fan in the bathroom went on at full blast a 7am then worked intermittently when we needed it on.

Absolutely loved it. We upgraded to a garden room, well worth it. A drink on the terrace followed by a lovely evening meal. Great choice of cooked breakfast or continental. Pleasant staff. Beautiful surroundings. Can't fault it and cannot wait to return.

Overall the experience was good. I had booked 4 rooms, 4 older couples. We were having a night away to celebrate a 50 th wedding anniversary. I asked if the rooms were all the same and was advised they were, but were slightly different with 2 having bigger beds. However the rooms were all clean. The shower in our room did not work, we did not find this out until morning when it was too late to get fixed. At dinner we were seated at table for 8 and were advised that due to short staffing there would be a delay. Food was very good apart from one fish and chips which had obviously been kept warm for some time. Breakfast was excellent. Despite the few glitches this was a good hotel and recommended

Not a hotel I would look to go back to again. Severe lack of communication between reception and bar staff, we had a nightmare with the bottle of wine that was include in our deal. Apparently it’s ’room’ wine and can’t be taken outside to the outdoor area but has to be drank in ure room, even if it is a lovely day and room is boiling!

One the best hotels in the area. Stunning reception and bar area. Staff very friendly and helpful. The morning cleaner in the bar is worth a special mention as she never stopped going at full rate! Down side has to be up to 6/7 dogs in the bar area making quite a racket.
