First time at this hotel and would definitely go back, hotel is lovely, clean and very comfortable. Excellent value for money and in a great location. Staff were friendly and always helpful. Food was delicious, only downside was that there were a few dishes they had run out of, however what we did order was first class.

Our second visit to this lovely hotel did not disappoint. Booked the dinner, bed and breakfast deal and found it to be exceptionally good value. Had a lovely bottle of wine waiting in our room on arrival too. Food was fabulous and staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Room was clean and fresh with a huge bed which guaranteed a good night's sleep. I would highly recommend this hotel for a short break.

Lovely hotel downstairs. I dud upgrade from a double to Aaron suite which was the honeymoon as I thought rooms were basic. Vert pleased with upgrade cost £50..Good deal for DBB so I didn't mind. Also our view was someone's back garden as there is a new estate built round that side. Staff lovely. Bit of queue for breakfast think that was probably a one off 2 course meal lovely also free bottle of white red or rose wine. Nice overnight stay

Nice hotel situated in an area close enough to all ameneties in Irvine. Only negative was dinner restaurant very close to hotel bar whicfortunately was very noisy on our stay. All staff extremely friendly and helpfull.

I was very disappointed on my latest visit to the Riverside lodge hotel. The room was filthy and the beds were thrown together. The bed was not made correctly, cobwebs on the ceiling light and I wrote my name in the dust on the window sill. Absolutely shocking. We have complained to the manager but as yet, have still not received any acknowledgement from her. This just shows how unprofessional this hotel has become. We have stayed here on several occasions however we will never be back. We still await the hotel manager’s response but I won’t hold my breath. 1/10 rating for the room cleanliness however the staff in reception and bar area were lovely. Such a shame the management do not follow in their professional manner. Bitterly disappointed at how far the standards have fallen at Riverside hotel. Food also rather poor. Lack of staff at breakfast, food left out under Heated lamps and food all over cooked. Toast was cold and when attempting to butter it, just crumbled into pieces. Fish and chips, was 3 little pieces of fish on the plate, pitiful to be honest. This was a total waste of £129. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!

Absolutely love this hotel service is amazing, food is very good, Reception/bar area is stunning with big comfy sofas all areas very clean. Rooms a bit dated but still presentable also very clean. Would 100% recommend this hotel without any hesitation.

Omg what can I say this was a fantastic deal and we certainly weren't let down. Hotel was fully booked and staff were fantastic. Very clean and well laid out. Very pleased with our room. Had a 2 course meal included in the price. The food was very well presented and very tasty. Only complaint I had was the plates weren't warm so food went cold quite quick. Sunday morning was a buffet breakfast and as the hotel was full you were waiting about for things to be replenished but on the Monday morning it was a sit down with table service. Food was fantastic and very hot plates that morning. The continental selection was also very good. Overall we had a great 2 days away relaxing and have booked to go back in June. Well done hotel staff for our very pleasant stay.

My partner and I stayed here for the weekend it was a lovely hotel very modern downstairs. The food was absolutely delicious, we ate in restaurant both nights and couldn’t fault it. My only negative is that our bedroom was very outdated. So you walk from modern look into a dated room. It could be they are getting to these though as we were on second floor. We would definitely visit again.
